Started walling probably a few years ago but it was mostly a "cut and paste," add text kind of thing, and I got bored of it quite quickly... So, this is my first serious wallpaper! To be honest, I really didn't know what I was getting into. I thought it would take an hour or so... it actually ended up being probably 5+!
I extracted and cleaned the image using Shinta's tutorial (http://imanimetions.net/main.php) which was really helpful^^. The extraction took a really long time though since I was doing it on my laptop without a mouse (one of those touch pad things... I wouldn't recommend it...)
The first version was pretty simple; scan of Sakura on a sort of blue cloud background. The second version (this one) was cleaned up a lot better and I added the swirl to the background to make it more interesting. I drew a bunch of diagonal lines and used filter, wave to make them overlap a bit and filled in some parts with a pattern. It took me a while to figure it out, but I think the effect is pretty cool.

That's always been my favorite Cardcaptor Sakura image. Background is kind of simple, but it works for some reason. Maybe if the colors of the background wen with the image a little more it would be even better. Nice work overall, though.

The pic is very nice and her outfit colors look great. i would have to say that the background should have matched her outfit colors and been more eye-catching but it looks great the way it is also. GOod job.

Thanks everyone for your comments! I actually had two different versions of the wallpaper. The red one can be found at http://www.thefilebucket.com/files/6481/ccswall2.jpg. Most people in Session Zero liked the blue one, so it's the one that I submitted^^.

Cute scan of Sakura with a lovely simple background. ^_^ Good job on extraction but there are still a few jaggeb parts around the hair. Don't worry though you will get better with more practice. And I'm sure it was hard doing it on a touchpad. I have a laptop too and it is difficult, even with a button rather than the touchpad. You did a great job though, keep it up!

The wall is good in what is representing, but the character's clothes and the BG really....doesn't go together. Sakura is too bright a red, yellow and then the back is all so light blue. It sticks out. But other than that, I like it. Is very cute, and I always love this kind os wallies.

i would say this wallpaper is simple.it is still a good wallpaper.but i believe it will be more outstanding if there is some effect or add some colours,not just plain blue.but like what others said,you still did a good job.hope to see more from you!
