I am definitly adding this one to my favs. I don't think there is anything to this wall that I don't like. The detail is amazing and everything fits nicely together. I really like the detail you guys put into the background...awesome! I'm sorry that I'm not able to do a more thorough comment. I don't make wallpapers so I'm not familiar with all the stuff you guys go through to make these great wallpapers. But through my untrained eyes it looks great! Keep up the good work you guys!

This is simply amazing, I must say this is more of a masterpiece rather than a wallpaper, because the term wallpaper seems to degrade it O.O The water seems a bit cut off (this is just a recommendation that'll probably not even work, so you can pretty much ignore it), the waterfalls seem so....flat X_x Adding some mist here and there probably won't be any harm, in fact, it'll probably add to the mystic feel O_o Other than that, this piece of art can be easily described with one (long) word 'wow-uber-1337-beautiful-amazing-sexy-woah-incredible-superb-youpwnme-...' you get what I mean.

I must say dhias did an excellent job, too! Your smudging is godly *bows*

It makes me so happy just to be able to know you both ^^ Um for critiques I would have made the change from water to mountain a little less abrupt and um made it darker like the earlier versions xD Overall though this wall owns and we all know it ^^

The texturing in this made my jaw drop. Like I said to you earlier, when I first saw it, I wanted to glomp both you and dhias, but you always give me that weird look... so yeah. Just jokes. =/

Anyways, I'm liking how the characters are made to look like they blend with the rock. What REALLY caught my eye is the water. The water looks very real. Another thing I noticed is the use of distance. The rocks and tree branches in the bottom appear closer than everything else in the wall. Made me go "damn." I don't think I've seen too many walls using this kind of technique so my hats off to you two.

okay, when dhias showed me a sneak peak of this wallpaper this morning, my jaw dropped lower than floor. so low that it took a while for me to get it hooked back on and stop the drool from flowing out. XD okay, enough with the sugary crap. it's awesome and we all know it. you guys own!

This is more of a 15 century painting rather than a anime wallpaper lol but I mean that in the best way possible, I think it's really artistic, getting away from all the traditional anime walls.

Everything look so real or just oil painting style, can't quite describe it, but the sun rays, texturing, water, scan, blending, it's truely a great piece, I guess there is a difference between playin artist and real artists lol.

As highknees mentionned before, the water pond just seems to "stop there" under the girl. A lil mist would have got fixed that. Also, at the point of connection between the falls and the pond, there should be more splashing water. They seem to be enough current in the water for that. The higher it falls, the greater the impact will be. Some rays of light should be more defined here and there (like in highknees highlighted wallie). It would give a nice contrast to the picture because everything is smudged and blurry so it tends to flatten the picture a bit. I would have died for "floating ashes" around the bottom of the lights... you know that thing you see when an intense ray comes across you. Like particles.

Enough with the complain and the whole 'Sandy's an ass'. It's still an awesome job and imma gonna fave it RIGHT NOW. :3

Good composition , there isnt a lot of people there that can pretend to do composition. Most of the time , people just " vector " or change the back ground without really improving the original Scan . Good job.

Wow.. even as a thumbnail, it really catches one's eyes. It's beautiful. I love the setting and how the focus isn't simply on the characters. I suppose thats illusionary, but it does depend on how the viewer looks at it, right? The water in all of the places it is in looks very good, and the mountainous-ness is a good thing for this wall too. Good job on making the foreground dark and blurred was a creative idea. This wallpaper is amazing. The detail is freaking crazy with all the work put into it. I like the Ancient Greek style used in this wallpaper. The rays of light, the waterfalls, the pool of water at the feet of Ayato and Quon, and the cave they are in is done with remarkable detail and precision. This wallpaper is a my favorite wallpaper as of yet! Unbelievable job!

I personally hate smudging. It's not that I don't know how, it's just not my style. The smudging tool is probably the least used tool when I'm using PS. I'm glad someone knows and bring out the strength of such tool.

Amazing wall, it's like RahXephon heaven.

Beautiful. This looks less like a desktop wallpaper and more like a painting on canvas. The scene is ethereal, but eerie, creating a sense of something surreal, quite beyond reality. Then again, the amount of detail in the two characters and their surroundings gives it great substance, and depth, as others have said. Enchantingly atmospheric, I'd sooner have this on my wall then cover it with desktop icons. Extraordinary.

My jaw dropped when I saw this wall. From the small thumbnail, I thought it didn't fit in because I saw nothing that looked like it had anime or manga related artwork. The wall looked like it could have come from the Renaissance era, and was floored that there really was anime artwork incorporated into the piece! A really beautiful and stunning piece! Great job!

whoa this looks extrodinary...this looks very well done...its the only wallpaper I've seen so far that has an american comic book feel to it, which is a good thing since some modern titles are colored by some of the best in the industries...pretty much the colors and textures are awsome.

I've watched the anime two years ago, and to see this wall just reminds me of the cruelty and those bad moods I've had when I watched the anime. Sugoi..... This is a great wall... Its got a whole, forbidden kind of thing going for it, I think you could have done something with the circular behind ayato's head, maybe some more text, like an anciet incription? Maybe something in Nahuatl or Latin?

Oh wow..@&#95;@ I've seen the scan.. and.. what an amazing transformation!! I am no designer, so I can't really tell you what effects are great other than the whole thing looks so awesome. I've visited dhias's webpage and saw the earlier versions, and I somehow like the darker ones without the lights because I think it gives more contrast. But the small waterfalls look more natural with the lights (without the lights they look too "white"). But what the heck, like I said, I'm no designer and these are my personal opinions. I admire your skills:)

So far, the only wallers that have left me speechless are the ones done by grayserg...but now u have succeeded in rendering me lost for words. i love the whole calm, serene feeling to it...with the waterfall and the trees and it sort of takes you to another place. And it sort of looks lyk a Da Vinci painting or summin. It's obvious that you and dhias worked your asses off, and ur work has paid off. A new favourite, hands down.

Attractive claim as the picture makes, it still oversimplifies the full range of explanations that would account for all possibilities. Evidently, just basing on the author’s own draw makes the unsound unsound. however, it is really so cool that i think that beautiful yet, at any rate we appreciate this figure.Let us look this picture seriously.

This is a really nice wall. The amount of effects you put into this must have been a lot. The background and shading is really extraordinary. And the light effects are my favorite. The words are really weird though. Just that some light hits the words. Also having the shadow of branches is a really nice touch. Fantastic job.

Definitely the best wallpaper i ever seen so far! Its got the feel of renaissance and class. Artwork is very detailed. Love the lights shining down from above, giving it an angelic feel. In fact this wallpaper is as if it was done by leonardo or picasso or some other famous painters from the renaissance period. excellent work!

I really enjoy the sculptural feeling of this wallpaper. As an Art History BFA, I love to see works that find their own unique style instead of playing into the animator's original intent. Good work. Accidentally when being indicated, as the TOP picture I was advanced to the next not to be perplexed. It is to know afterwards but because this wallpaper was category of the genre, RahXephon, the shank. I who do not know RahXephon excessively well, that thought whether the instant original religion picture. It overflowed that much softly in mysterious atmosphere. I'm late to post, and I can't really think of anything that hasn't already been said, but I'm definately going to add this to my favorites and I always like to comment on anything that goes in my favs.

I love the smudging. At first from the preview image it looked like it was kinda blurry, but it's really not when you see the full wallpaper. I also like the artistic aspects of it, very thoughtful. Can't think of any criticisms, so I'll just say excellent work! ^^
