Kara no Kyoukai Petalchaser

im liking the design/colors of this sorry for not writting one huge ass comment but what i like doesnt need words fav+

the wings and flower look really cool. the petal chaser box in front just kinda messes it up for me though

Gah! I have always been wondering, how do people make the thumbnail in different ratio than the wallpaper real ratio >.> Can you tell me, please?

At the first glance, I was like "What is that text doing over there?!" Lulz. But after I downloaded it, I realized that the text and the additional elements on the center of the wallpaper really makes the wallpaper what it is, awesomeness.

I love the vector so much, nice and clean (the texture(s) too). And the gradient color on "petalchaser" looks really wonderful. And great looking wings too. The background with texture(s) and brushes really harmonize with the character so much, I love it. It's great that you did not put another lot of brushes, may be distracting.

All that words and without a favorite? Of course not, I am definitely making this as my favorite.

PS: Do you have the version with reversed character? (like on the scan) If you do not mind, may I have that version? It looks so great too in my imagination, makes me really want to see it.

It looks really good and all but the petal chaser box doesn't fit in at all to me.

I guess this is just my preference but I don't like the title splash on the front. There should a way to make the title blend in with the rest of the wall. If you did the vector, the skirt seems a bit "off". The back looks longer than the front. Unless that's what the skirt is supposed to look like. Make some higher resolutions. Otherwise it's a good effort. Good color theme and coordination.

saw your vector a while ago and was wondering why you didn't make a wall with it yourself nice, simple and awesome design and it's really pleasing to look at

big ugly textbox slapped right down in the middle thoroughly destroyed the wallpaper. i can't understand why people want to ruin a decent wallpaper by putting large ugly text right down in the middle of wallpaper.

The lady and the butterfly... They are two of one or on of two. Simple colors in the wallpaper are very graceful.

I'm loving this one. Just like Tida said, the position of the text it' what makes this wall stand out. It's a fav for me xD

I like everything but the textbox throws it off. When I saw the thumbnail with my cursor over it, I thought it was Firefox clarifying something in a strangely large textbox. When I realized it was part of the wallpaper it kinda bothered me because that textbox is big and in the center. It brings attention straight to the text, not the character... but if you want the focus to be the text then you accomplished your goal. Everything else is perfect though!

I'll be honest, I'm not a big fan of large text splahsed in the middle, but I'd have to say that this wallpaper looks really nice, and the text adds a mucn appreciated flair. The widescreen version is especially nice, because it has more room for my icons ^^.

The vector is really nice and I love the wings and flowers. :) Nice colors and use of textures too. The text is very different from what you normally see.

Quite a nice work, the vector is nice, the brushes too and I love those kind of colors but I'm not too cool with the text box, it's a bit too big for me. The text itself is ok, I like the police you used, but I think you shouldn't have placed it there.

It would have been cool if the res would have been a bit higher but well, can't be too picky :)

Hauh... #(c_c)# That explains why this is a new style of text placement that I haven't seen before... I think that it is a very interesting style to use (text over character) as it makes the wallpaper looks different from the others.(-_-)-o# The extraction of the character is very impressively done, the character is clean and doesn't have any pixelation, and I am impressed of your skill to make those butterfly wings and the flowers (though they weren't made for this wallpaper originally) they are very creatively done and fits the character very well 8)E After looking at the original scan I can only say that this wallpaper could have been improved if you were able to include more parts of the characters; instead of cutting off tops off the hair and the legs you could have resized the character instead. .(-_-). I am very impressed with this wallpaper and I wish your success in the future! Keep up the good work! |(o_o)

i like this wallpaper. you did a great job on image vector and the extraction of the character is very impressive, however, the title in the middle of the image seems a little distracted to me.... btw, nice work and well done.
