I like Kurogane very much,so I've decided to make a wall with him wearing his usual angry-passionate expression.
At first I've vectored the scan, which is here - http://www.animepaper.net/gallery/scans/Tsubasa-Chronicle/item74397/Then I've added background, which was originally more pink than orange Then there were several layers to add "burning" effect and also vertical texture to match with background. And then brushes and lines, flowers remind me of Kurogane's Nihon country.

I think you should get the right scan at first to do something like fai have done. but anyway it's a very goog job ....

Not bad for a first try. Is a very good start, you have some talent. The vector is clean, however the lines are a bit rough. Background could be a bit darker, but anyways is a fine wall. Congratulations.
