Wow for a 1st wallpaper this is quite amazing.I seriously love the sky.Looks marvellous the trees and ground and everything doesnt go with it quite well.But anyways i love that sky ^^.The trees are nicely made but the grass beneath it make it looks like they are almost flying or something lol.And the text u've added isnt good.Text is always made in an area where it blends and makes ur wallpaper even more awesome.As this is ur 1st wallpaper its quite a beauty Great job.Keep improving

Why does everything look so nice except for the water?? Seriously now, everything is so well done but the water looks like a grained grayscale effect and it definitely doesn't belong in this wallpaper. It's truly a shame. If the water wasn't like that it would definitely be a fav for me.

I like how you were able to come up with a beautiful sky. And the trees that you've done looks pretty amazing, though they're really dark as you've mentioned, it's not easy to see and appreciate their beauty.

The water looks too dark, you could have made it a bit lighter to make it like see through, anyway, just my opinion. And would have like a clear effect, that would show some rocks or something like that, and since it's a full moon, so it shouldn't be too dark. But maybe, you were focusing on making the cotton balls glow and that could be the reason for you to make the water dark.

I noticed Satoko-chan sitting on the rock, but the rock looks a bit blurred and should have her shadow cast on it, not having light under her.

Well, all in all, it's a nice wall and really good job on your first one, grats ^_^ Keep up this kind of great work and welcome to AP! This would definitely be a fave for me :D

It's very detail for the background! but almost the entire of the wallpaper a bit dark so i can't see them all, too bad I almost like all parts except the moon and the water, i prefer if the moon dark and the water lighter but it's very good for your first work

id say really nice job for the background (painted? (o_o) cool XD) just a bit blurry for hi-res T.T maybe some elements dont blend to well, like the sky, the water, and the charas and yeah maybe need some works for the water ^^

Aww this wallpaper is the cutest!! So kawaii!! :3 Also, i cannot believe this wall is your first cause it is impressive. Hee hee. Anyway, i got to say all your hard work paid off. The work you did with the trees, moon and leaves looks great!

The sky is nice; very meteor shower, outer space looking, it looks cool but it does not fit in with the surroundings too well. I got to say a clear blue/black sky with a few sprinkling of stars may have fitted it better. But whatever, its just my opinion. XD The little word thing you have in the wall does not really fit in either...maybe if you had made it not stand out so much would have been better. The grass is nice, like the darker green ones but the other part of the grass the lighter ones next to the darker ones looks quite funny...like not very realistic...maybe you can work on that.

But other then that love the wallpaper in a whole. It was a very good job to be your first; so i look forward to your future walls!

Nice wallpaper for a first submission. My fav Rena is the center of the attention, yeaz ;3 I agree about the water with the others, somehow doesn't get along with the other parts. Blurry an the used texture also pushes the score down. And the sky is more like a space scene as a night one. The rest is very well made. Giving you a fav, you deserve it. +Fav

Truly amazing for your first wallpaper... the amount of detail is spectacular. But the water irritates me... it doesn't look like water. o-O;; Even after reading the description I hadta realize their feet were submerged before it clicked. This isn't helped by the fact there's no real ripples or reflections as with real water. My small complaint is the red in the text throws off the harmony of the colors. The pink in the sky would have been a better choice.

But really, I'm jealous your first wallie turned out so well. You've got real talent. Keep it up~! +Fav

But i think the trees doesn't look very natural and the water is seriously bad cause it took me awhile to figure out that it was a river.. maybe it's dark due to the forest. uhmm... can you tell me what are those in her hands? it's not that i critisize your work, just curious... yet spending time with friends until dark is really something. especially when with girl friends (literally not a GF) underneath a full moon that near sooths my mind out of stresses.

I do see some over smudged areas or odd things such as the grasses. The sky is quite unrealistic (thought it's anime after all XD). Well what I mean is too realism I guess. I was really hoping for not those type of galaxy stars you see in outer space, but the typical night sky you see from down here on earth. I gotta admit it's quite dark comparing to the scan (did you clean the scan btw? o.o") The repeated trees yeah didn't really go so well (sorry), but you did really nice in making one.

One the goof side I think I really loved how the stones turned out here. Clouds are done really well compared to mine especially. Well done on the dirt and mossish grass and I think all it needed was a burn tool one some areas and that would've done it. Though still very creative. The mountain I guess was so-so and so is the water (because you did way better than I ever could T_T)

Actually I did wanted to make a wallpaper out of that scan too, but at least since I never started it I'm not so crushed. lol! Yes, it's like my favorite anime series thanks to my darn (boy)friend. XD Well done for your first time and keep it up! It isn't that bad, but a really good start I must admit. ;)

This really has to be one of the best wallpapers I've ever seen. It's not suprising it took you 30-40 hours to complete it, great things like this take time. The background (trees and stuff) look really cool. The scan and backgroung blend perfectly, and I think darkening it made it look better. I also like the sky, because it sorta compliments Rena and the others standing in the river. Awesome wallpaper for an awesome anime. ;D

i luv higurashi, such a good story. i agree with some of the others here, i think the weakness in the picture is the water. if there was some kind of ''shimmery'' or reflective effect i think the picture would be amazing. besides that though i think the picture is amazing. the sky is wonderful, and what i really like is the lighting. you make the characters agree with their surroundings. good job.
