Greetings,

This wallpaper has been created for the 'Say it with Flowers' contest at The Script Refinery. The rules state that the flowers mainly have to be with your text and well I have a lot of text. I found a special font at Da Font in the 'Valentine' section. So, I searched out some wedding text and that was about that.

Then I did a search through AP's Sailor Moon gallery and there I found this wedding picture of Usagi and Mamoru in Manga form. I had thought it was already walled so I check it out. Turns out I was mistaken.

So, I extracted it and started walling. I tried to make it on the side but I couldn't do it because I use both sides of my desktop for icons. So, personally I need the side space. Thus, I went to Stockxchng and searched out wedding for flowers. So, I had flower's for the contest. After getting some cool textures and images. I went to work. I ended up seperating the scan from its flowers because those flowers weren't blending as well and was taking away from the bride and groom.

Then I knew I need to use rose. To show the 'Two becoming one'. So, I went back to AP's gallery and got these scans.

From there it was twicking and blending. At the end I ended up doing a slight 'vector' on Mamoru's/Darien's hair and tux because there was far to much 'yellow' coming through. Then I ran across another verse in the bible 'Love never failes' (1 Cor 13:4-8). Which I put in Usagi/Serena's vail. Which I did make that vail as well.

So, I hope you enjoy it and I hope I get a good place in the contest. *^^*heh

P.S. I would also like to dedicate this wall to my cousin getting married on Sept. 27, 2008.

The wallpaper looks not good but it looks not bad too I say this because the abstract background don't looks good with the chara it make them diesaper and the text is going in the clothes of the and I just can see there face clear!

well, it's okay..but if you want to make a full of text wall, you may check asa01's walls.. the text is a bit too hard to read..did you overlay the text? as for the colors..it seems a bit dirty with the background's main color..you may want to increase the saturation. :) as for overall, i like your concept. ^^b keep the good work

Oh, so you're submitting to the contest, too? It looks like I have competition! And a good one, at that. :3 I think this is cool...I like the grunginess. I wouldn't have thought of this from the original scan! I like your use of text in the textures, and your title is really neat as well. I just think that maybe it's a bit too messy looking? The flowers around Mamoru and Usagi should maybe look more like...flowers? XD I don't know; they just look too dirty and kinda fade away. :/ Hmm...but this is still a good wallpaper. ^_^ Nice job!
