You should do the whole wallpaper in a sketchy style, cause his face seems like vector shape layer, any maybe his eyes could be a little better. Good try tough.

The idea is great, the scan also, you could have only work a little more on painting, shadows, highlights and such... to make it look more like 3D. But it's still ok. Going to my favorites for the concept .(n_n).

lol! i think that the work done is really good... actually, imo, the work would be better than the concept itself... very often it's the opposite :p I think I didn't get very well the message, since I can't understand the meaning of the character behind Naotaka (Naotaka? that right? you understood :p).... something is really difficult about the look on "naotaka's" eyes... since right eye (Naotaka's) is much more bigger than left eye, making left eye look good is really difficult, i don't know if iris is not big enough, if there is not enough pupil and if "light" is too big....maybe i'm talking nonsense :p anyway love the quality and the details, i get a good feeling about the texture too.
