Well this isn't my favorite of your wallpapers but it's still impeccable and executed just beautifully. Dark gothic and punk are the words I would think of to discribe it, it has a aura of mystery that I think really draws the viewer in. Nice work as always A- ( []-[])9

Very solid design motif, and overall very good work. You've captured the falling snow very well, and the design effortlessly supports the mood and flow of the wall. The only little niggle in my opinion is that Batou is outlined a bit too strongly by the lights, but that's a microsopic blemish in a sea of awesomeness.

Oh, and having another Ghost in The Shell wallpaper rocks too =P +fav

Great lighting effects!! It really confers intense mood, which I think is very befitting for a GITS wallpaper. Also, even though it's dark, the wall itself seems to direct the attention to Batou and the dog.

Very nice! I especially like the precision in the silhouette effect on the tachikoma and the backlighting highlights. It looks awesome in the full version. Seems like you enjoy this text effect a lot hehe. I'll be honest and say that it's not my fav wall from you, and I probably won't use it, but it shows your great skill regardless. Keep it up! haha sorry i'm late. xP anyways, the walling machine is full of life and continues to crank out walls. you're too fast, lol.

a whole lot of love the lighting you picked for this. the original images show your imagination, which bridges the not-so-exciting scans and this far more dramatic look. the lighting works gorgeously on the tachikoma. although i feel like the shadows at the feet of the dog and batou are too intensely black. while the most focused sources of light are lighting them from the back and would cast pretty focused shadows, they are also somewhat lit from the front. they aren't silhouettes, after all. so this unseen light source would have some lightening effect. as well, behind them are multiple lights, those on either end being pretty far apart. i don't wall scenic so i can't say for sure but i'd think there would be multiple shadows in different directions, darkest where all the shadows overlap. what you have works; just some extra thoughts. :D

i proclaim my love for that dog, especially its eyes. very well done. < 3 and the snow is a nice touch. (your brother has nice ideas.) it's just that they look like they are falling pretty fast/driven by a pretty fast wind, so it doesn't seem to be the start of a snowstorm. and yet there is no snow anywhere on the ground or on the characters. xP but meh, whatever. the snowflakes look awesome.

The spotlight amidst the pitch black background illustrates the limited number of "external mnemonics" in his daily life as a cyborg, causing him to rely on them heavily as his points of reference. In his monotonous solitude, his pet holds him from falling into endless melancholy. Thus even though his eyes are cybernetic, Batou's body language clearly exposes his love for his dog - his only "living" companion. These are the feelings that shone through in GiTS:Innocence, and are brilliantly captured by this dark wallpaper.

It looks incredible. It's so simple yet your eyes get drawn to every detail. Keep up the great work.

Anyway, I guess I'm a bit biased since Batou is one of my favorite chars, but I love this wall. I love that you made it black and white.. it fits perfectly and looks great. The lights behind him indeed look cool and the snow is a very nice touch. Excellent work, as always.
