For the contest held at GSA - Summer Picnic Battle.
It's been awhile since my last GS/GSD wall, I find myself only walling them when I make a contest...maybe I should find someone to make the art excite me again :\
I went crazy searching for a scan to use, I tried numerous couples... KiraxLacus, MwuxMurrue, finally settled with Shinn and Stellar since they were my fav couple despite the BS ending their relationship had.
Shinn Scan - saw this scan and immediately wanted to vector it, it's rare to see him smiling or blissfully happy like here so I knew it could be workable.
Stellar Scan - Also another rare scan of her, I changed her smile though and made a new shirt for her since I don't really care for that weird outfit she has on.
After vectoring the two scans I worked on the back ground, it was going to be a sunny wall but then decided to make it night since Shinn's expression kinda gave me a feel for fireworks.
Stellar isn't look at them at all, she's more entertained from the viewers at home as you can see so pay her ignorance towards them no mind ^^;
Grass or brush, which ever you choose is homemade like the clouds stars are the only brushes and lighting effects are for the fireworks.
I wanted to combined both fireworks and stars to make quite a show, and then the song Stargazer Hoshi no Tobira from Gundam Seed Stargazer helped me out for this idea. I've grown to love the song and wanted a wall to reflect on it so hope this one makes the cut.
All this took about 3 days to make, vectors can be found here and at EDD!

Dear god,people have started making incredible works of art in this site and im gone... Really nice lightning on this wall. Cant say much when it is so good^^

Nice wall! Great job on the vectoring. It's nice that you changed the girl's shirt. I love the colors of the background. The clouds and stars look quite nice with the people and the text and greenery add an extra touch. Also Shinn's left eye might be slightly wobbly though that's not a big deal. +fav.

Vector is very nice, just I expected from you. But the background looks a bit empty for me, even when the characters covering up a lot of space. The text helps some, but still not the ideal.

I love the soft colors of the sky and how nicely they harmonize with the characters... The use of light from above was also well done I think ^_^

"it's rare to see him smiling or blissfully happy" You're right, because of this, The wallpaper has more interesting. The sky is nice too.

Very romantic :) The colours give a sort of mysterious and serene atmosphere. I love the two images of Shinn and Stellar you put there, they fit so well together.

I never really watched too much of Destiny. I kind of stopped after several episodes. Wasn't that big of a fan of these two characters; however, I think this wallpaper is fantastic. They look really good together with their blue tops and the night sky backdrop. Maybe I'll watch the rest someday. Keep up the good work.
