Well, it has been a long road working on this wallpaper. I have done many revisions and design changes as the people who frequent session zero know all too well. This started off with a realistic looks starscape, which I ultimately decided against because the vector wasn't working with the background at all. I decided to change to an anime styled background which I could see immediately was going to work much better. I couldn't find any tutorial on how to make buildings like I wanted so I just started playing around with patterns and such, and eventually got something I liked. I had clouds and spotlights at one point but the gents over at session zero pointed out that they stole all the thunder from the constellations, which are supposed to be the focus of this wallpaper.
Obviously, the idea for this wallpaper came from the quote in the wallpaper, which is from a book that Kotomi loved. I wanted to create the image that Kotomi was looking up and seeing constellations based on her favorite book. The constellations look pretty simple but they went through quite a few revisions themselves.
Unfortunately, I cannot take credit for the vector. I would have vectored my own image of Kotomi, but this vector was pretty much exactly what I wanted. The credit to this vector goes to: anonymous...well, I found this posted on 4chan so I don't really know who made it. I looked around on animepaper and on the web but I couldn't find who made it. So whoever you are, thanks for the vector. If anyone has proof of who made it, I will gladly give them credit.

I remember seeing this in Session Zero. I really like all the changes you made. Everything you did I think was an improvement. And now seeing the final work, your work has paid off. I love the quote and how you tied it in with the constellations (though I did kind of like how you had the individual quotes underneath the respective constellations, but it still looks good how it is now :) ). I also like all the vectoring you did. Kotomi is done perfectly. The buildings also look very nice (though I'm not sure about them being outlined in white like that). Overall, great work and a really nice idea!

I really like this wall, something about it makes me feel young and happy. I guess with the little words and star shaped animals you made, their so cute and I love the concept of the whole thing, the way you placed it all and the effects are a nice touch. The vector is great, done very nicely and it blends in good with the rest of the back ground. Great work.

Saw this wallpaper a lot in the session zero,glad it is accepted:3 I like the sky and the stars and of course the building in the background what I don't like is the text. Still nice work:3

Hey, congrats on your first wall. I saw this on the SZ on it's first appearance and it really improved a lot.. And I'm glad you used my advice to make the stars brighter so it will look like a real constellations, and the buildings are looking great with its childish style. And your efforts have paid off.. I really like it.

I have seen this one countless times on Session Zero. But looks like the lot or revisions was worth it, cause this final one looks really great. Kotomi was one of my favs and the background is good too. No 4:3 resolution, phee.... +Fav
