Final Fantasy X .Thief.

This is a good wallpaper and I do like it. I fear it may need a little more revising and here's why:

You have a lot of different textures going on and looking at the full screen version, the texture in the background and pattern of the kanji in the sunrays clash a bit. You could change the background texture to something a bit more subtle, perhaps using a textile-like texture instead of that strange woven/blotchy type (I can't remember the name of the texture but I'd recommend the one that looks like horizontal fabric lines or switch the lines to vertical to match the flow of the kanji). And the swirls in the pink shadow of Rikku are slightly distracting... I don't know if it's just be because I like a certain amount of balance or something but I don't think they need to be there. The swirls coming out from her shadow are a very nice touch though.

Secondly, the picture of Rikku wasn't cleaned too well. There are spots on her hair that are not smoothed and are a bit distracting when looking at the full version. I know it may be difficult, but the effect you used on the scan is not the best... I'd humbly suggest using something else to smooth over the scan in order to make it blend well with the background... how does it look without it blending to the wallpaper (simply out of curiosity)?

With that aside, the thumbnail version looks beautiful, so I know this wallpaper is on it's way to total awesomeness. The colors you used are warm and very flattering, so great choice on that! Altogether, the wallpaper is a little busy, by just taking out or toning down a couple things, this wallpaper can be great!

Oh it's so cute! :] I love the background to pieces. However, I think it would benefit from having some sort of glow around Rikku/her shadow? Just to really make her pop, ya know.

Personal I hate the fact that this wall is so dim and you have Rikku look in a dark way, so make it brighter but the design is great, the whole rays of light shinning with Japanese characters (I believe) shinning on Rikku is great and adding that hint of FF X-2 with her twin blades is a great touch to the wall. Rikku’s Shadow has this plant like aspect, might show how she is still growing as a character and makes the mood lively . So all and all either make Rikku brighter with the rays of light as well or change the background lighting cuz it seem flat and glooming while Rikku is like a bright and energetic person. Use this style of dimness on like Paine or Lulu from the same series, cuz it makes sense on them but make it more like moon light then sun light. 7 out of 10 for my personal taste but the design ideal 10 out 10

Yeah the thumb of this wall looks good but up close it looks bad. Rikku wasn't extracted well,she looks very pixely, and doesn't blend likes she should. Also the background is very busy and the shadow is distracting.

I hate the effects you used on Rikku, their too dark and don't fit her at all. The colors may look nice but don't really blend with her at all and take more attention than she does.

I'm not sure what you did to the scan but it looks really bad, it's jagged and blurred, messy and hard to look at. I think you should take it off immediately.

As for the background and as in way back, the effect is too hard and does nothing but make the wall look very unattractive. '

I think different colors and modification on the scan and background will work to make it look better.

I loved the concept and the stuff you've put between the character and the blocky background. I'm not sure where you're going with the character though, it kind of looks like she was pixelated or something and you did something to her do make it look decent. And the blocky part of the background kind of looks like those early homepages with horrible backgrounds you couldn't separate from the text. Good attempt though, and I really think this could be great with some revisions.

Nice thumbnail. But it looks very bad when full-viewed. Too much textures. I don't like it. And you used the filters in bad timing. So it turns out to be ugly. So does those Kanji brushes. I think it doesn't belong in the group. The symbols seems to be out of place. Very poor, It seems kinda blurred. The scan is a bit jagged, and messy. She looks like a bit wooden in her arm part. It NEEDS a LOT of cleaning. The design is bad. I know, you put a lot of stuff here but I don't sense anything good at all. It's too distracting to me. And ViciousX said everything that's I'm going to say.

I think I may prefer the previous version that you made of this piece as to this current one. This one seems too over cluttered with textures and patterns. In my opinion the simplicity of the previous one was much more appealing. Now a lot areas in the piece are too monochrome. I don't care for the background on this one, it seems to rough in terms of texture, Riku still looks somewhat grainy. The text in the back is a little strange, it doesn't seem to go with the wallpaper too much. Riku also seems a little choppy, try blending in the areas where that choppiness occurs.

Seriously... the thumb looks much nicer than the actual wallpaper... I don't know what kind of effects did you use on Rikku, but she turned out quite bad... I mean, she is dark, blurred, etc. Maybe you should revise the layering or effects used. The extraction could be better too... look at the space between her left hand and leg (a black portion that shouldn't belong there). I like the concept of having that orange shadow behind Rikku, but maybe you can try resizing it or something like that (without taking of the flower brushes coming out of it). The weapon should be dismissed from the wallpaper I think. Now the background! When you make Rikku brighter, I guess the colors used will have to change a bit. Also, I think that you should completely change the texture you used on the red-ish parts it doesn't look good at all with the soft look of the kanji parts of the background. Ok, I know, I'm maybe too harsh on your wallpaper, but looking at the thumb version and seeing how good it looks like, I really think that you can improve this wallpaper! So keep up the hard and good work! I hope to see this wallpaper improve! Good luck! (and sorry if I was too harsh, but we are all here to improve our skills, right?)

I love it. But I told you that already. I love the colors and I think the first one came out the best but I like this one to. Keep up the great work girly!

Nice wallpaper. It reminds me of the cutscene intros of the girls in FFX2. Rikku's pretty adorable in both games.

Well the background fits with her style and she obviously looks great so it's a great picture for me.
