The leaves are too uniform in size. If they're meant to be falling from the trees then the ones that are close to us would be almost as big as her head and the ones that are far back would be smaller. also, you might want to make sure you use different shades for them than are used in the bg - they get kinda lost.

Beautiful nature BG ^^ Quite nice and blends well with Mitsuki ;) You could use some colour shading for the BG so that there are colour tones and shadows which makes it look more realistic.. Well, overall, nice job :)

I think this is from the series Shinshi Doumei Cross, not Full Moon wo Sagashite.. Although I'm not that sure, but since they really look alike because both done by the same artist...
