Another for my collection :3 Took 2 days to finish and I'm glad since usually it'll take me longer.
I've been trying to change up my style of walling since I love to try new things and I was getting tired of the constant grass and such. I've been making dark walls more and I'm planning to make more since there are so many scenes in the dark that are pretty and mysterious.
After making this vector I was a bit puzzled as to what background to make for it, I never think through my originals. It's a sorta "go with the flow" style, since sketching ideas it's much of a method I use now. It's all from the mind, which of course nothing ever comes out how you imagine it to look.
After making the background and added a lighting to it I made the effects on the stone she's leaning on and then added a magical feel to it. The rather chubby firelies and the tears were added later.

Lookin great Kitten, I like this style. All the colors compliment each other well and the girl looks amazing. The only thing I'm not too fond of is the heart thingy in the bottom left corner. Its too bright and detracts your eye away from the character. I just think it should've been a bit dimmer, but overall love the wall. Very interesting.

I really like the character art! And yes, those are chubby fireflies. I'm not to sure as to the story behind the wallpaper, but I'm guessing her king died and that's why she's crying? Just a guess. That's the feel I get from it. The effects on that heart are interesting as well, almost like a fireworks display or something...

your original chara is really pretty, lovely expression on her face, and the vector lines are well definined and the coloring blends very well. The heart is a little too illuminated and it doesn't ripple so much in the fountain but overall it's a very soft and pretty wall, great job on this one

Nice one Asahi I really like emotive wallpaper. The lyrics you chose are great for it. We're used to see this kind of Photoshop grass, but it is well place and done. And the colors fit just really well together the grass, the scan and the sky. And I also like the luminosity of the scene. I'm not sure about the very define ray of light, but it's kinda look original. Overall I think it looks great, nice job
