the wallpaper is a really good concept, how the girl is in the corner and looking like she's kind of dead. it looks pretty "dark" to me : D

It's wonderful. Too dark to be my background but I like bright colors. It's a wonderful piece though. I like it a lot.

Oh, wow! I love this so much!! Lain is an amazing series; it's one of my faves. No, it isn't horror...I'm not sure what to categorize it as. It's somewhat science fiction with a lot of underlying themes and symbolism. So I wouldn't say it's exactly horror, but you made a very gothic type wallpaper! ^__^ I think it's great~ Your vectoring of all the wires and of Lain laying there...it's very well-done. I like the colors and the darkness. It matches the anime's theme quite well. I'm stunned. Must fave! Good luck in that contest~ The bloody version looks neat, too.

I think Lain is very far from a horror. But it nothing changes about that I like your wallpaper pretty much. The girl getting a lot of attention with the light and the whole scene is very good. I would go rather with a more graffiti loking text, cause it looks a bit plain compared to the rest, but thats nothing major. Is a good wallpaper and thats the important. Keep it up. i know Lain is kinda sci-fi but anyways, i really like how you remade the scan' and i like the extensions very nice because it ain't cluttered and busy and gives lots of space for icons

Hehe yeah I agree with those who commented on it before me. I love the wires, which somehow remind me of a spider net. As to the girl: she does look quite well done and I like the "scene" as well.

What I do miss a bit is her teddy bear.. in the SE:Lain Artbook I had almost every scan had that thing on it.. it was almost annoying .. but I somehow miss it here .. on the ground or the scene .. amazing job anyway :).

well this is dark wallie but i dont think its creepy(sorry) maybe it would look creepy if you putted some blood on the floor and little on her :D no really you should ask dslassey what he thinks. anyway i love the coloring, her skin is great, and its vexel like :D, and especially the wires, they are WOW, cause they have details. another dark wallie fit for my desktop :D faves

Cool I was looking for a Lain wallpaper since I just started watching Lain for the first time and I am loving it. The problem is most of the wallpapers were made over two years ago and most only had a resolution of 1024x768...and that just isn't big enough for me. Then it looked at the very top and what do you know? A cool wallpaper from only a week ago in a good resolution. Thanks a lot, great wall!

Light in the darkness is very impressive. Their combination is drawing her situation like prisoner. She is captured by outside or by herself in her heart?

Not familiar with the series but I love this wallpaper. The way the wires look like a spider's web and she's stuck in it...awesome.

I like this wallpaper. The composition is good, and spiderweb of wires is eye-catching without being distracting, plus, I like the dark colors. For someone who seems to have never seen the series, you did an excellent job of capturing the mood.
