I vectored Ryoko like a year ago, and everytime I revisited the completed vector I just couldn't make a wall I liked out of it. I dug it out for the umpteenth time and just freestyled. Vectored the flower from this scan and then I went for a totally 80's theme, played with typography which can be so difficult but I had fun with it, scribbled here and there in illustrator and had fun with the animal pattern that's for sure. It wasn't until I was done did I think the colors were a bit familiar, then I remembered Urusei Yatsura, I've come full circle and it's fun to be influenced by things from the past, anyway enjoy~

Nice, the leopard print is very 80's and the flower adds a nice touch. I personally would've added more "Jungle" type brush work because you got a flower and leopard, with some 80's why not throw i a jungle theme. that's just me though. I like it, it's simple and sexxxy. very cool.

Total 80's XD Capture's the era well, and the Ryoko text with the flower would look awesome as an 80's theme bar logo. Great skill and work. Thanks for sharing

Oh wow! I almost when over this one and didn't even look at it. For some reason, I didn't even notice Ryoko on it. (All the new stuff I'm watching must be having a negative effect on my memory).

I'm like Darkliam and I am always a lil cautious about yellow and dark colors, and this isn't bad at all. I think there's enough other colors for it not to roast your eyeballs in their sockets. I really like how you stylized Ryoko's name, and the rest of the fonts fit well too. The only thing I really don't care for are the yellow blobs near her backside because I think they take away from the controlled chaos you got going on.

Great work. Immediately placed on desktop.
