This is a wonderful wallpaper you have such a creative spirit everyone of your walls is stunning and unique. Okami is my all time favorite game, it's hard to capture such a beautiful game in one wall but I think you did a great job, it's not super bright and over barring you can really take in all the detail. I think it's the soft simple beauty that makes this wall lovely. Nice resolution, colors, textures and composition are 100% perfect. You really nailed this :) A+ and a fav

The style of Okami is really beautiful, and you captured it perfectly. The scene looks so peaceful and quiet. < 3 +fav and to my desktop!

This wallpaper is so refreshing and really cozy huh. Its really nice. However, based to the original background scan, you really did a lot of changes and cuts which gives the background of the wallpaper a litlle bit odd. Well, as I can see it, particularly beside the waterfall there are some lines which are weird. I'm kinda confused if those lines are from the mountain's slope or the tree's. >_> Or... both and got mixed up. Frankly, I wish that you retain the flower branch at the right bottom of the original background scan. ^^ you know, its really nice ^^ (and I bet the rating of the wallie will be increased >_>) but, I know that it will be a lot of work for you so, don't mind my suggestion so much. As for the compliments, it'll go for Amaterasu (such a cutie!) and the cherry petals. ^__^ Not the tree itself bcoz of the left top portion of the wallie. As you look at it (at first) you'll get confused if the lines are from the cherry tree or the mountain's slope (again -_-). Anyway, overall... its a nice wallpaper! ^___^

OKAMIIIIIIII~ While I would love to see something more interesting on the right hand side than just a mountain fading away [keeping the wall non-WS], I do still enjoy the rest of the wall very much. Okami's art style is just amazing, and you're very good at manipulating it into wallpaper forms :]

aww, so beautifully calm.. what i love the most about the wallpaper is probably the composition, makes the whole scenery look like a hidden place for ..."the nice white wolf" (<noob never played okami), where he can remain protected *sets as desktop*. The texture fits pretty well in, wouldnt have tought that when i saw the wallpaper loading from the top - the colors give the wallpaper an additional old paper look, also nice work on that. and and, *looks shy*..i like the pretty colorful flowers /cry

Normally there are at least one or two things that I change about a wallpaper before using it. Whether it's a single sloppy vector line on an otherwise brilliant vector, a large mass of text ruining a wallpaper, or other such small problems. With this wallpaper though, there isn't a single thing that needs changing. I know it sounds like low praise, but believe me when I say that it's a rare occurrence when my extremely scrutinizing gaze can't come across a single thing in a wallpaper that isn't to my liking. If there is such a thing as perfection, this wallpaper is a great example. You took a scan that was needlessly over complicated, and combined it with another to create what genuinely looks as if it was freshly painted on wood or some other sort of canvas. If AP had the option to order a full sized print like some other sites do (D.A comes to mind, I'm sure there are more) I'd probably jump at the chance to have a full sized version.

My desktop will have to suffice for now.

I adore this wall. It looks fantastic on my desktop. I really like how the texture is like an old, slightly washed out canvas painting. It's absolutely gorgeous. It gives you the feel that it's an antique-ish sort of painting, but the colors are still vibrant. Plus I agree -- sleeping Amaterasu is too cute! Thank you for sharing this wall!

Although I've never played the game myself, I've seen the official artwork and quickly grew to love the old-style painting effect that Okami is famous for. You captured that same effect nicely in this wallpaper. If I didn't know any better, I would've thought it was official. :D

This is a great wall. I originally saw this on Desktop Anime and loved it as soon as I saw it. I just like how the background seems very serene which suits the scan of Amaterasu sleeping. Very nicely done.

This is a really beautiful wallpaper. Okami's one of my favorite games of all-time. It was such a fine game with an awesome story, and there's nothing else like it out there these days. Hideki Kamiya is a real genius, and I'm glad he's back out there making fun games like Bayonetta. Anyway, the colors in this wall are remarkable. You've captured that early cave level incredibly well. Amaterasu is just adorable sleeping like she always does. Where's Issun when you need him? Great work, thanks for the giant resolution too.
