Shadow in his face is very impressive. It make him be cold and horrible.

Yeah, I wanted to do something with the opening too. I expect that there should be a wall for each one of the scenes. Very good choice and very good reworking. It keeps the composition quite well. The extreme black of the shadows might be too intense but it works here.
