When I first tried to make this wall I originally intended it to be a little more colorful. However the finished product did not end up like this. I wanted the laughing man logo to be on text in the background but because the original back ground was bright purple it ended up looking funny so I decided to go with the dark Grey/black ground. I think it also makes the major stand out more.
This is my second wallpaper that I've made but the first that I think is good enough to submit. If you decide to comment feel free to leave any tips and/or suggestions.
I am going to be making another one like this but it's going to be a little more colorful ^_^

Good work on your first submission. I think you did well on the vector and the abstract design in the background. I especially liked the funky bright colors in this wallpaper. Nice job with the textwork too. It actually looks great as a background. I've noticed that there are some random faint blotches of light in the wallpaper though. I think it looks better without it. There's also a little piece of red line in the background which should be removed. It's rather small but still noticeable. (It's somewhere above that rounded shape thing in the background). Hope you know which part i mean. ^^ Nice work nonetheless. =)

I really like how you put the colors on the black, its really nice. It creates a very effective focal point, nicely done!

I think that certain parts of the wallpaper are even a way to colorful. Even when the inpiration of wallers is unlimited, I think the series itself should give a cerain regulation. GITS is definitely not a good choice for colorful wallpapers. The problem itself lies in the connection the cahacters and the colored parts. They are merging in the way that they almost eat away the characters focus. So despite her standing in front, the random shapes are more noticable due the higher contrast and you are losing the focus on the major itself.
