Worked on this all afternoon. Outlining wasn't hard, the coloring was the challenge. I never did so much painting work on my life, and I was really scared of it 'cause I suck so much at painting :x I'm afraid that there are lots and lots of flaws (I'm sure there are) visible to others because of the brightness of their screens >_<
This was the original image, no bigger version until December 3rd, but I couldn't wait. And it's no problem, I've worked with much smaller images (which I'll be re-vectoring soon btw).
I wanted to do the same type of coloring, so painting was the only way. Oh man, I barely use the smudge tool plus I still haven't got a new mouse and I suck at using my tablet... you can see that, some lines are really weird... She had these "huge" lips on the original image, but I thought the way I made them smaller looked better. I'm not proud of the gloves, they were the most difficult for me. I couldn't find the right colors to blend :sweat: Her hair was really fun to paint. (Sheryl's hair is so pretty and interesting XD) Again, my best allies were the burn and dodge tool. They're wonderful :P Ah and yes, I added a sparkle to her earring. Macross fans know how important the earring is. No ideas for a bg, so I just tried to make it like the one in the original pic.
Last, I added some snow cause of the title. Title comes from D.Gray-Man's 1st ED "Snow Kiss". Not only I had that music playing but I thought it was fitting with the vector, Sheryl blowing a kiss, and it reminded me of winter so~
I think the wall version looks too busy, since Sheryl takes up all the space. But since there were requests for it, here's the wall~

Pretty!!! I like so much, this remember me Christmas is near, I love the little sparkles and snowflakes, the paint of hair looks very well I think the lips would be a little more gross but it´s ok everywere, thank you so much and fav for you .(n_n).

One of the nicest Sheryl walls I've ever seen, somehow you manage to make her look beautiful and innocent when she's far from it in my opinion lol. I don't know why I can never like this girl, they made her character seem so over bearing and then really desperate towards to end, awful just awful. But when I saw this picture of her I could not resist in getting it. You did a very nice job with the vector and even greater job with the colors.

What can I say I think this is truly an adorable wall, awesome vector and simple concept, the hearts and effects used in the background are nicely detailed which add to the girls beauty the only thing I'm not super crazy about is the resolution it seems kind of cramped to me like to really enjoy the wall it needs to be bigger. Great job B+ :)

Nice job on the vectoring. Just to let you know there are higher resolution scans of the original source just in case you want to make improvements. But i don't see any that is necessary.
