Ayanami Rei has been my favorite girl for wallpapers. I think I need to do more wallpapers of other characters. Anyway, I found this scan but there were many complications in the way…Shinji for example….Pen Pen….the japanese text…lots of things.
First I did was extract Rei from the original scan. It was difficult because of all the text over her. I had to redraw her entire leg.
Next thing I did was do a beach scene. With sands, ocean and sky. I used a sand texture I found on the web and then redraw the little waves, and everything else.
Finally, I added Rei and some palm trees at the right side of the wallpaper and lighting to spice things up. I hope you like this wallpaper. thanks

Shinji would've look good with her, in the Angelic Days manga they make a pretty nice couple. Pen Pen looks a bit strange with her, but it's still nice nonetheless. The background looks nice, and Rei is good as well. Nice wallpaper.

Rei in the wallpaper is very charming and soft. Her swimsuit is flowing a girl's natural attractiveness. Her sliding eyesight is very realistic. Pen Pen become her good company?

nice wallpaper i thin on the first side the graphic really suits the anime it looks kinda old but on the other point i think it should be have moere color or at least a bit brighter
