To celebrate Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru (UraBoku) 2nd Drama CD, I decided to vector UraBoku scans. Obviously, Yuki was my choice coz he's the main and important character in UraBoku! And luckily... as soon as I finished it, I saw the drama CD up for download. LUCKY~

My 2nd attempt coloring black and white manga scan. And.. they went well, much better than my first attempt! Although... I almost went crazy trying to figure out where the shading part should go. I'm really bad at this kind of thing after all. Even though I read some tutorial, I still couldn't understand it OX So, gomen if they look a bit weird.
And Yuki hair's was probably my most favorite part. I've been wanting to try out this kind of hair, but since I didn't have tablet... I failed so many time. So this time around, even without a tablet.. I determined to do it, and I did it! Although it wasn't exactly like the tutorial :nya: Oh, Yuki hair was supposed to be much lighter in color, but I made it darker instead.
_ About Wallpaper: _ Layer's: 43 Time: 9 hours Single roses vector from Commander & Roses and Athrun in Suit, while the petals from Yuki & Zweilt Guardian
The background is just something really simple. Because Yuki is sleeping, of course I made him sleeping on the bed. It seems look unrealistic at some part, sorry.... I don't have any reference for the sheets. So made it my own. And since it's too empty.. I put some roses petals around Yuki. And I also added the single roses in Yuki hands. Well, his hands look like he's holding something... so, yeah, I put one of the roses there. Anyways, I change the color of the roses because blue roses suits Yuki personality well X-P

Making wallpapers from black and white scans are tough, but I think they can be fun~ *learned from experience* And so yours is really good!! I like it. ^_^ Yay for drama CD's~ Fun stuff. I like the shades of blue that you used. It's a very nice wallpaper indeed. *faves* I just think some of the outlines are too thick...or maybe their color could've been different? But that's not a big deal. Great job~

Firstly you have my praises for the transformation from that rather busy scan to this beautiful vector art. The lines are superb and the colors are subtle, soft and delicate. This wallpaper is enchanting and I adore every aspect of it, The roses are so detailed, it's also delightful to see them in blue, great idea. I'm always at lost when complimenting astounding walls such as this so I will say this and be on my way. Thank you for taking the time out to create this spectacular wallpaper, I thoroughly enjoy looking at it and it's a treat to have on my desktop . Your work is very admirable and deserves a higher rating than a mere C+, it just goes to show how unappreciative some people can be, anyway you have my thanks for this delicate masterpiece!

I love this series! It's rare to find a wallpaper from it so I'm glad I found this. You did a great job coloring and altering the original scan to fit it into your own concept. And the blue roses are so pretty ^_^

this wp is really good.. uhh.. may i ask something? what's the real color of yuki's hair? is it white or silver? or light brown? i have seen some scans of yuki with those hair colors.. and yuki looks like zero of VK..

Wow this just amazing, I'm really blown away, the textures and layers of this are just stupendous, he's so clam yet the expression on his face is just riddled with emotion, the roses are like a symbol of innocence and conflict but still add a sense of beauty and loveliness while keeping a aura of mystery. Really great work A+ and a fav :)
