OMFG i finished it \o/ i seriously thought this wall was going to kill me XD i made this wall for the winter scenic competition

i started working on it almost right away and shortly after (maybe two days) i got a freak allergic reaction/slight infection in my left eye so most of the work was done while i'm looking at the computer screen like this X_o i seriously don't recommend it XD ANYWAYS on to the wall!! \o/ i took the mokona from this scan here the sake cups are vectored from bernouli's cups she used in her tarepanda wall here the pillows i vectored from a few stock images i found on google then i played with some patterns and shapes and shadows and highlights everything else was painted by me.. there's probably over 80 layers on this wall my fave part the windows..they were fun!! ^_^ i LOVED the frost on them!!\o/ the part i absolutely hated was the TREES... the branch in the window and the trees in the back i absolutely despised doing those >.< a BIG thank you to bernouli!! i love her walls and she was helping me so much with advice.. i would have gave up long ways back ..THANK YOU!!

but overall i'm happy with myself and this wall ^_^

now excuse me.. i must go die *crawls into bed and falls into a coma*

First comment! Yay! This wall is adorable~ Really makes you feel warm on a chilly winter's night ( and oh the Christmas spirits in the air~) !! Love the way you extracted monoka and also the overall idea withthe cushions and frosty windows~ all the art work you did is pretty impressive~! Can't help noticing the patterns on the cushions, they're nice touches. :D Just thought the scene would look cuter if they had mugs of hot chocolate instead of sake? lol. Don't get me wrong though, the wall is already lovely as it is♥ Keep up the great work! *^^*

Uwah~ So adorable! x3 A very sweet winter scene.

Amazing wallpaper; everything is just so detailed. o-o (I am slightly bothered by the fact the mokonas are clean vectors while everything else has some sort of texture-- they just don't blend as well.)

i really like those pillows <3 lol two lucky manjos it's bilizzaring outside and they have warm tea *.* one question why is that closest tree the smallest? lol i don't really fancy that part of how all the snow pilo on all windows are the same

I really like this wallpaper. The scan you used is adorable and yet so different! So many different sources for your images. I'm impressed with how creative you were! And I'm definately saving a copy of the scan as well! I love the pillows and how you textured and put the star pattern on them, and the mokonas are adorable as usual. The frost on the windows is good and I really like the trees in the background. Definately a favorite for me. Thanks for struggling through this!
