Very lovely wallpaper. Too bad I can only see the thumbnail of the original scan...but if that's what you used, then wow! How did you extend her dress? Cause it looks flawless. O__o Same with the roses! Like did you paint them all or what? *curious* Or did you use the stamp tool? Well, whatever you did, it sure makes a beautiful wallpaper, although I think extracting and creating your own bg takes more creativity. ^_^ Nice work though~

i was wondering what it looked like too, wheni first viewed this, shortly after you uploaded it. seems you did more work than i presumed. i found a better image of it here that you might amend to your description, since the other is down, just so people can really see what you did.

you did beautifully. a lot of people frown on expansions, but when someone does something this well to this extent it's impossible to ignore.

Absolutely lovely details, interesting textures, and a lively color palette that doesn't feel artificial. While the left-hand side was extended very smoothly, it lacks any of the visual interest and excitement of the right-hand side. The rosetree's bough is straight without and branches, and the bunches of roses are uniformly lined up without any empty patches or interesting protrusions into negative space. Her dress, which is very active in the right-hand side of the picture, just lies flat along the bottom on the left. While this is one of the best examples of the technical aspects of extending a narrow scan into a fullscreen wall, it lacks the artistic ambition and boldness of making this wallpaper take on a life of its own, rather than just being an extended version of the original.
