Alright... I wasn't planning on doing this one, at all. I only wanted to submit vactor, but it happened that someone already did it .(-_-). and I couldn't. But since I already started, I decided to finish it and make a paper. So, here it is! There's no big plan or any kind of idea behind all of this, I just experimented a bit and it turned out pretty good.
Original scanBrushes - deviantARTBG paper texture - google :Ptotal time spent - 2-3 hours on paper and 2-3 weeks on vectoring (no, it's not like it was ultra hard, I was just incredibly lazy :p) hardest part - vector ofc (hair/shirt to be precise) easiest part - ... ummm... pasting bg?? (^ 3^) program used - Photoshop CS4 number of layers - 922 (vector - don't ask me how I did it :p), about 30 (paper itself)
[edit]I darken the bg a bit in couple places and it does look kinda better. Though I don't want to change Tomoyo's clothes colours, I like them how they are ^^

okay, work more on the colors. its orange right? why not use red or anything close to orange for her? change the yellow- orange. and her skirt to red.. here is a good color for her.- dont change the white one, it looks pretty. hope to see it re-done

Whoops,that "someone" would be me...Hmm,Why not try to submit your vector?My vector from the same scan are a simplified version of it's original.Yours MIGHT be accepted.Might...
As for the wall,it's nicely done.Doesn't really like abstract wallpaper,but since I've been wanting to see this scan,or vector,or,whatever made into a wallpaper(Me myself being too busy) I guess this one would do for my next desktop(~_~)

I really like the feeling to the wall, nice job retouching the scan, even tho i can see severall jaggy lines ^^; other than that, the clouds looks fluffie, wich is good , aaaaand the feather is a great touch to the clean-look text, i like it. the only failure that i see is the composition of the wall, that gives it this separated compartiments look, makes me think of a bento...wow im really hungry �¬_�¬ bleh anyways, the scan pretty much forced the comp. on the wall anyways, and its still a gorgeous-looking wall, good job n_n

I love the image of Tomoyo you picked out for this. Ice cream is always a plus in my book, haha. The background seems a little fuzzy, but that might just be from my own eyes. Great work!
