It's a nice scene, but the background is very blurry. o_O Your lines could have been a little sharper and more defining in the clothes in the back, and those pillars looks kinda weird.

You should full-view the wall, and you'll see how beautiful it is. Your painting skills are awesome, Lelouch and Suzaku's dresses look gorgeous and very detailed with those pretty ornaments(thus very difficult to vector), even though, the background seems to be neglected compared to the vector, it has less details and a odd blurry effect, and you forgot to put the title XD The way you put the credits reminds something very familiar to me hehe, nice touch~ ;3

I love the details, the painting itself is gorgeous. I think the reason why the bg may not match the background is there's a lighting discrepancy between the two. Now I'm not entirely sure how that can be fixed. XD It's lovely the way it is as well. =) +fav

From what I can gather from the thumbnail after staring really hard at it, I think this is a really nice wallpaper - you did a great job with the painting (why can't everyone paint over their wallpapers instead of vectoring flat images?) and I just love the perspective and depth this wallpaper has. The colours suit my eyes too~ The only grouch I have is about the pillars - I prefer those with lines on them which increase the feeling of 3D-ness and texture.

First impression of this paper is amazement. Great job on the vectors, they’re very detailed. The scenery is very epic, Lelouch’s presence is very graceful and it even transcends to Suzaku as well, he has the aura of an angel.

The background compliments their demeanor quite well, it’s fresh, simple and powerful, nice job in not going overboard. With the extravagant appearance of Lelouch and Suzaku, the choice of background is wonderful even though the setting is inside a gloomy place. Splendid work with the painting, the effect is really attractive and has a soothing appeal to the overall appearance of the paper. Blending of the colors is stunning and relaxing. It's a charming paper!

Wow, very beautiful vectoring of CLAMP art. Their art is always so filled with detail and have such a distinct style that it's hard to find good vectors of their art. I like the composition of this wallpaper, and the color selection matches the melancholy mood anytime Lelouch and Suzaku are near each other. However, Suzaku and Lelouch's capes seemed to have been done in a different style from the rest of their clothing, specifically the outline of the capes are not visible, whereas the rest of the clothes (sashes, chat, pants, etc.) have distinct line art framing the colors. The change between the two styles is a bit abrupt for my taste. Regardless, this is still a very well done piece of work, kudos.

That's what I thought on first glance. The created background blends in well with the characters, especially with the brush work to help them blend in (seems like some clothing extension too?). The characters look very well-vectored and pronounced -- keeps them as the center of attention (not that it was hard to begin with -- his hat's so BIG).

This is really a terrific concept. I love how Lelouch is framed not only by Suzaku's position but by the arch in the background as an almost holy figure. Some here take issue with the lighting that's used but I don't see anything really wrong with it. I think the perspective is very sound. We have light entering through the arch casting it's own shadows and striking the floor while Lelouch, in all of his white, appears to be giving off a light of his own which is reflecting off of the columns. I think this is a great effect. I do think there are some problems with how the subjects blend with the background though. Because Lelouch and Suzaku have so much detail they kind of highlight the lack of detail in the rest of the image. Stylistically I think the background elements are perfect, they just need to be embellished a bit. Also, while I love the painted look to everything it does kind of draw a greater contrast between the background and the characters. All of these things create the effect of making the characters appear as if they've been cut and pasted onto the background. All that said I think this is far superior to the vast majority of papers which incorporate such original backgrounds. Thanks for sharing this and at such a nice large size!

This is absolutely fantastic, I love it, this is one of the best Code Geass wallpapers I've ever seen. It really got my attention when I first saw it :D This is such an awesome picture of Lelouch Lamperouge and Suzaku Kururugi :) The vectoring is really great, you did a great job with that. Another thing I like is the coloring of the picture, you've used some really nice colors in the wallpaper :) The background is awesome too :) It's just a simple background, but what more do you need after such an awesome picture like this :) I love Suzaku's and Lelouch's clothes, they are so cool in my opinion. :D Suzaku is my favorite of the two, I like him a lot, he's such a great character :) Code Geass is such a great aniem, it's definitely worth watching :) Thank you so much for sharing this awesome wallpaper with all of us Code Geass fans here :) Keep up the good work :)

It took me a while to figure out what you meant by "not what I wanted". But I agree. The background of this peice is a bit off from the main two characters. In the beginning, I was a little blinded by the awesomeness that is the interaction between Lelouch and Suzaku... but after looking at it longer, the background started to stare at me! LOL! Anyway, good peice, but every piece can use a bit of work, unless you are a complete master... and that's a rarity.
