It has been too long since my last wallpaper. Roughly a month has gone by and I can still feel the after effects of waller's block. I'm happy that I finally broke out of it, and now I'm ready to make some walls!
Hmm.. what a way to come back from a slump. Serial Experiments Lain is always a nice subject for really emotional wallpapers. I used two scans from here to make this wallpaper. I don't know what I was thinking at the moment when I used the stuffed animal. I must have been feeling a bit... weird. But from how it came out, I really liked the outcome. I chose to not use text in this one because I didn't feel it was necessary. Seeing those two there are already enough.
Well, I hope that you like my latest wallpaper. Comments and criticism is always welcome. Enjoy!

This is setup nicely. Though, Lain's eyes are at us, not quite to the person with the scissors. Though, I think you meant for the viewer to be the one with the scissors..?

the concept si really nice and the background is really well done but somehow the scans dont really look that blended in >__<

Well... the freaky feel is definately very Lain...Poor puppy... I think the Lain in the background seems out of place. I mean, the posture doesn't really fit in with the placement, and the doorway itself could use more depth to create a stronger feel of distance

I haven't seen the anime. But I like girl connected stuff animal. For me, the stuff animal is really need help. Because it doesn't have strength. Anyway, I like it.

I really like this wall, but Lain almost seems to be floating. Maybe adding a shadow would help?

This wall is so nicely done. Great texture, great concept, great colors...and I especially like the dark atmosphere it creates. I love how you put the plushie and scissors in the foreground and her in the back. It seems more dramatic that way somehow.
Anyway, you did an excellent and definitely impressive job. Keep up the great work!
