Clarification: The "house" is not a house. It's an old castle (a real one, not fairy tale). Y'know, to go with the princess theme.
This wallpaper took one hell of a long time. I'd never tried to get a vector to blend with a photograph before. And GIMP wasn't always cooperative. After 20 layers it started lagging like nobody's business. =( )
Much blurring took place. A ridiculous amount, just to try to get the natural textures out of the photograph and trying to get the shadows on the vector to look more natural. So the two main images met halfway. It also ended up a lot darker than my first draft. I burned a lot of places to get the dramatic shadow look to make it look more cartoonish. And I added light brushes on top of it to bring the whole thing together a bit more.
This took about 2.5 days to complete. Thank you to everyone in session zero who helped with their suggestions. 8)E

I think this is a great wall. I love the scan, and the photo you used for background goes with it pretty well. The jagged roof of the building looks a little odd to me though, and I'm not sure how I feel about the pink clouds over the moon. I also think that the wall might look better without the blurring effect over the scan. Even with all these things though, I still think that this wall is gorgeous. I'm going to have to fave it :)

Oh,a nice Tsubasa grungy wall...I like it,but the house in the bg looks kinda strange,a little too sharp...maybe you should just blur its edges a bit ^^

I'm not quite sure about the pink clouds over the moon,and the houses in the BG looks a little out of place.

Ah Sakura and Syaron look all grown up in this wallpaper and I like the background even thoug it was sad Syaron actually turn out to be a copy of the orginall syaron in this series and ahhhh sakura look so sad in this wallpaper.
