Hi there

Well, I have a lot to say about this wallpaper, but I'll try to keep it short because nobody likes to read an essay on a wallpaper.

I learned a few new nifty skills while working on this wallpaper, especially skills on lighting of objects and shadows. I think the part that makes the wallpaper is definitely the shadows and lighting. I started this wallpaper from scratch, the only things that I did not do myself was the vector, the bird silhouettes and the picture of the butterfly. (I designed the birds into the text)

My favorite part working on the wallpaper was creating the plants, and my least favorite was the lighting. It took me more than 12 hours to complete the wallpaper and I finished it over a period of two days. I'm quite satisfied with the outcome!

I hope you guys like it, please don't be shy to comment and tell me what you think!

2nd revision: 1. Made the birds more 3d like 2. Made the character more 3d like 3. Changed the grass so that it has more variety to it

ummm the grass lacks variety...should choose more brushes the light's beautiful the fence is a bit over 3d sinch the girl isnt as 3d the sky and feathers are beautiful and the bird shape lack variety conside using lots of brush instead of one set

This one seems so simple but it wouldn't work any other way. I love the colours used. So very pretty. *faves*

I'm sorry, there are too many things not working for me here. Emphasis is confusing: it seems the character should be the focus, but my eyes keep going to the fence. (I wouldn't be so bothered, too, if the fence itself was interesting.) The elements of the picture don't belong together visually, with their textures and colors all over the place. The feathers and the type don't do much either.

the lighting is very nice, but the lighting on the girl could be done better. Plus the grass is too bland, making it seem like a big green patch, but the lighting on the fence and ground is awesome. love the overall wallpaper though don't get me wrong, just some more details and change could be done to it.
