Hi, this is my first submission to AP. I have been a member for a long time, but because of very low self-esteem (and because the walls here are like, OMG wonderful) I never submitted anything. But now I finally decided to TRY and come out of the closet.

I vectored this manga image of Link: http://www.onemanga.com/The_Legend_of_Zelda_-_Wind_Waker_-_Links_Log_Book/4/01/ based on several screenshots from the game. It's a very simplistic style, and I think some of you may say it lacks depth...but I think it's more fitting with the game's art style.

I left out Medli because I couldn't vector her with confidence. Wind Waker is a lovely game, and I liked the use of the Wind Waker to play tunes, hence "Aria of the Wind".

Following advice, I "remixed" the wall: 1) Added in an extra shading to Link (the little green boy). I didn't add too much to his face because it made him look more troubled than serene :) 2) Added in more ripples 3) Took out some stars, varied their brightness and "chopped" at them to vary their shapes 4) Added an additional darker shading around the "smoke" (they're wind lines actually) 5) Blurred the clouds and moon less 6) Added in a moon texture 7) Increased the vector to 1600x1200. My comp was already lagging at this resolution so I'm not too keen to increase it more :(

Sorry I just don't know how to do clouds! :( Normally I take stock photos and filter them to get clouds...

I think you've done an excellent job on this wall :D

The vector is cute and the colors are nicely done. I'm glad you "came out of the closet" because this is a nice one~

Who doesn't like Link wallpaper? No-body. lol. This wallpaper was done very well, with good color, and just a great wallpaper over all. :)

This is by far one of the best Legend of Zelda walls I've seen. Very nice, indeed. I love the look of the character and I love how you matched the feel of the game. Congrats on a wonderful wall! *faves*
