Here's another vector work that's been hiatus over three months. When I was looking for something to do in Photoshop, I came across the file and thought of finishing it. I hate leaving things undone.
Well, I had the outlines done months ago, so all was left was to color it. This isn't my usual coloring technique, but I decided to give it a try. I blurred the shadows a bit and used the burn tool to add more effect. The outlines on Athrun and Cagalli are not black because I think the color suits their skin color better. Kira is a bit tan here so I stick with the black lines. I used the gradient effect for the eyes and the shape tool to create the white circle.
Background was the easiest thing to do. I filled the background with the standard sky-blue color and then used the cloud brushes to make the sky. I vectored the water, the splash, and the bubbles. It's my first time vectoring water and bubbles, so frankly I'm no good yet.
Basically, I followed the original scan but I made a lot of modification, especially Cagalli's bathing suit, Athrun's shorts. The rest are the same. The original scan contained Lacus, but I decided to remove her. In this wallpaper, I wanted to portray my three favorite characters of GS.

Oh! That is such a beautiful wallpaper!*-* I've just recently watched Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny and fell completly in love with these characters. They develop a very strong friendship throughout the series and your wallpaper really reflects that. I am no expert in making wallpapers, but I really liked the background... the clouds and the water, I think it looks really natural. The colors were also well chosen. I'm glad you decided to finishi it. Thanks for sharing it with us!^^

Fun and awesome wallpaper!
It's another marvelous work from you. I'm impressed on how the characters were vectored. So clean and bright! The colors are quite creamy and I love the shading. Too bad you didn't include the highlights of their hair. The modifications on Cagalli's bathing suit was done well. I do think that orange bathing suit looks good on her, but I also like the one from the original scan. This is your first time doing water vector, right? You did a good job on that. I also like the bubbles and the splash.
The background is simple yet it's perfect for the characters. All natural and all nice. The clouds are so fluffy and soft. I want to them them.
Athrun, Kira, and Cagalli are definitely your faves. I'm not big on Kira, but I'm more of AsuCaga. The original scan had Lacus. But I don't mind if she's not in the wallpaper. I like seeing the trio instead.

It's been a while since any g-seed walls have been submitted. It makes me alil nostalgic to see this. I like your clouds! it would be even better if you can add more colors to it to give it more depth. Kira has a nice tan on his skin. lovely work~

I also like Kira's tan here. I thought I made him too brown, but I'm glad his skin turned out all right.

Absolutely marvelous! The background matches perfectly and the vector is great! It sure makes one feel a lot happier ( not to mention relaxed, too!) just by looking at the paper.

I don't like Kira, but he's so cute in this wallpaper! *-* Athrun is beautiful haha and Cagalli is cuter than Kira, hah! XD I don't mind if Lacus is not in the wallpaper, I am not a big fan of her. XDD

I love the effects you used on your wallpaper! Makes it look like a "beach volleyball party" indeed. Keep up the good work! And yes I love those three characters too, but Athrun is my favorite. :)

Nice wallpaper. The three of them look very cute together especially Cagalli. I don't really see too many walls like this that show Cagalli's feminine side. It's a nice change from her tomboy outfit that she wore for most of Seed. One of my favorites. Keep up the good work.
