you did the extraction blending and apply of texture really well but i dont really like the stoke image part i think if you take sakura out but stoke and texture would make a good desktop but together they're just not meant to be =P good job on the colors

I love how old fashioned this looks. You used textures really nicely here and everything looks good. My only criticism is that the background could look a little more cartoon-ish, but other than that, this is fabulous.

The photo you used and the image work really well together. Great job with blending them together so well! I hadn't even noticed it was a photo when I first looked over it. I really like the color effect you used with the wall. Giving it that orange to make it look old and photo-ish was a nice touch. I especially like the contrast with the pink in Sakura's dress and umbrella. Great job!

I've never seen this image of Sakura before. It goes with the vintage feel of the rendering as you said. The idea is simple but again fots the image perfectly. If anything is a giveaway that it probably wasn't original to the offical artwork it's the fact that in Sakura's world people dresses in doll-like fashion that looks a little vintage anyway.

I don't dislike the text but I think it takes away from the vintage mood. Where it is though would look completely natural with the vintage theme if instead of letters we have just texture rendering .
