ohhh how cute is this!!!!!! love the scketch.. looks so sweet! =] i dont like the pencil much, cause it calls too much my attention away from yotsuba.. maybe its they way u put the pencil there.. i dont really know cause i'm not used to use hand made sketchs on wallpapers.. maybe its just me and the pencil is ok... Anyways... lovely wall!, and nice drawings =P

lol i love this! i think it would have been cooler to combine it with some vector sketches and make the colors brighter, but thats really more just my vision than yours

Very cute! I love the idea...it's so simple yet so detailed at the same time. The lined paper gives this wall a nice, authentic effect, especially with the pencil right on top of it. The doodles are really cute too! You did a great job of making the scan look rough, but I think you could of added to it by making it look even more "sketchy," since the coloring still looks too even for it to be done with a pencil. It's just that right now there seems to be a clear distinction between the original and what you added. Also, it might be better to use some other writing ustensil instead of the pencil, since the scan doesn't have that pencil (or colored pencil) texture. These are just some suggestions...Great job!

I normally don't like these kind of walls, since they are quite popular amongst newbies that think a 'flat' image with some pencil drawings will make a good wall. It usually doesn't, but yours, yours is definitely different. The whole composition is just brilliant, it really looks like someone has scribbled some stuff first to get the right inspiration and then just drawn that amazing image of Azumanga. The choice of scan is perfect, the scene's perspective makes the whole wall so dynamic and great to look at. Sublime coloring and the well placed pencil just finish the wall completely. Minor point of critique is the fact that the pencil is a bit too flat, but on the other hand it now blends well with the rest of the scene instead of some weird, hard shadowed pencil floating over the paper.

In conclusion: you just took the full 100% out of this concept and made it a brilliant wall. Deserves to be faved :3

i guess ur going for the "class is so boring i'm gonna doodle" idea =P but in that case maybe monochrome picture would be better or a lineart and the side doodles dont really fit in much

What else can I say? :D I've always been a fan for walls that depict scans with sketchy effects and with extra doodlings. And yours is lovely :) The only thing I find awkward is the pencil. The sketchy style and the pencil colouring style is nice. Kawaiiiii. But, the wooden pencil in the side destroys the artistic feeling. Post a new one w/o the pencil, its should have higher rating.

It would look great if it wasnt for the pencil. It just seems to take away from the wall and seems out of place. The rest looks good though and has that childishness going for it.

I love the feel you get from the sketch like idea, the effect has been brought out very well in this bg. But in this piece I feel that the pencil was unnecesarily added (since the sketch effect stands out by itself.)
