Kino No Tabi The distance

Ah jeez... i need to remove this from my wip's --_--'' ..any way it's all good :3... it's really nice scratchy style mixed with simplicty....would have prefered a textless version but still, fav for the really neat effort :3 ...

definitely one of your best ones, there is a tiny color leak on the left side where the buildings are, but since this wall isnt really that "clean" i think its ok, although there arent other color leaks so i dont know if you want to fix it.

the txtures are lovely and i just love this style! great job!

ahhh this is so cute... i like the scketch.. the texture works great with it in here... and i think the text looks cute.. i like the text style.. i only dislike a bit the paragraph you wrote.. i think you could have written something more appealing... maybe repeating "to feel" 2 times doesnt sound so good, i dont know for sure... anyways thats my personal opinion.. i'm not a writter.. xD great job on this wall =]

It's pretty good but could use a more variety of colours. Nothing really stands out...it looks a little bland at this point, but i think if you improved that aspect it'll look way better. Otherwise very good lines and vector.

This has a nice point of view. With the bending buildings, it really gives the sense of distance and how the pedestrian views from bottom up. I love the art and colors, which give a storybook feel to this wallpaper. Nice job! #.(n_n)

This is lovely. I like the whole drawing-sketch look on it. You did a great job on turning that scan into a wallpaper. The colors and textures look good together and a job well done on it overall.

The texture and brush style definitely conglomerates and complements each other.

I think the only reason I didn't wall this was because the buildings looked like sloppy kindergarten drawings. XD

I love Kino's pose and perspective, though. The anime is absolutely wonderful~ One of my favorites. I wish you would have included more of Hermes in it, though, and I think the text makes it look a bit cluttered. Other than that, great job~

Even after all these years, Kino no Tabi continues to be a major inspiration for walls.

Overall, this one is very nice, good use of color, excellent choice of cropping (I like this composition more than the original), clean, crisp lines, etc. My main critique is of the text. First, I think the choice of words is kinda... odd. It's like they want to be meaningful, but instead come off as vague and cliched. Also, since they don't overlap or fall behind the buildings at any point (and actually touch the building outline to the right), it flattens the wall greatly. I would take them out entirely, honestly, or make them bigger and have part of the buildings on each side overlap them (although I suppose you could alternately have the words in front of the buildings). Also relating to the text, I wish it were in a non-English language! I think French or Spanish or something would be a good choice, since either of those languages would match the architecture. Walls that have a non-English-speaking-country setting look weird with English text.

i like the sketchy-ness this wall gives (XD) it feel very natural the vectoring and texturing are well made too a very good wallpaper =D

After my 2 week review of past walls this has to be my favorite. Kino's Journey is one of my all time favorite anime the spiritual and philosophical meanings are brilliant. I like how you made such a serious series look so cute and innocent you gave it such a youthful feel and I love the sketchy textures there super creative. The series has a dark over tone but with this you brought out the happiness Kino is seeking perhaps without even realizing it. The colors are a great match and even the text is fitting of the show. Perfect job A++ and a fav :3

Beautiful! I love the colour scheme in this, and the perspective is just phenomenal! The way the buildings curve around her, their shape and her gaze drawing the viewer's eye to the sky. The sketchy nature of this piece fits well, all the emotion, setting, and details are still conveyed in it despite the lack of extra detail. Just great!
