concept I got the inspiration from ChaosKaizer's grass piece. Plus I woke up feeling ballsy (if that's a word) on this Saint Patrick's Day which gave me enough guts to submit this piece. Ha ha I wanted to do a desktop that was simple yet stylish which would give fans of anime or the series casual, subtle desktop.
design about a little over an hour of actual Photoshop work after I came up with my plan. I did a vector of the Bleach logo many months back that I never used until now; got that and just played around with the different layers until I like the way it was working with the denim background.
Love or Hate it any commentary is welcome ^_^ Have a nice Spring!
EDIT: Hatesyou gave me some tips over my first version of this wall. A few minor changes were a more accurate centering of the logo and having a better compression. Instead of manually trying to center the logo, I used the automatic tool. And as for compression I believe the background was the issue. I redid that, and made sure to save the jpeg compression at the maximum quality to avoid submitting any noise. Just about an extra half hour of editing but it was time well spent for this is now more improved than the original.

A classic and simple wall indeed. I thought it was not jeans pattern the first time I saw it. I should say that the simplicity and classic style is really nice, and it's neatly done. This definitely get a fave from me. Amazing!

Not something I expect too see on AP (I usually go else where for simple, anime walls) but I'm really digging the style. Clever skill points goes to you for the jean background and the plaid logo.

Funny enough my boyfriend's a'cappella group in college put out a CD titled "Dry Clean Only" and that was the first thing I thought when I saw the wall. Love the simplicity/concept. Yay for gutsiness! Definitely need more people around here with enough cajones to submit really simple walls :3
