It's beautiful, so glad to see this scan vectored and finished with the attention to detail it deserves and demands.

I like this one better than the other one that used this same image, because yours shows more of the characters, has more detail, and more natural and realistic lighting. Good job. :)

Beautiful job. I really do enjoy the work you put into this one. The background you've chosen is most fitting for the scene. The sparks flickering and flying off is very well done as well - it adds great motion to the entire piece. Your work on the chains is wonderful as well. You can really see the detail behind each link which is very impressive since many fail to carry through with vectoring chains.

One question, I'm wondering why you chose to use a lighter brown for Yomi's shoes while you stuck to the darker brown/black with Kagura - distance of the flame?

exquisite the best ga-rei wall so far i can see only one small, but to me very irritating flaw: the tip of yomis sword - i think the way its sharpened is totally wrong and should be fixed with that removed id call it absolutely perfect

As Dalarty mentioned previously, I do find the fact that the black clad girl's shoes are darker than the other's (and also mentioned, wouldn't the glow from the flame make the darker shoes lighter?), but that's just a minor issue.

Well done with the vectoring, you did a superb job =) Even if you did procrastinate somewhat, what matters is that you managed to successfully complete it! So well done.

Yay fellow pen tool user! I know what a pain it is to stroke in with the pen tool because I use it all the time (I have no tablet). Usually I use a layer mask and the brush to get the line-end-fading effect. Anyway onto the wall...it's fantastic! The vectoring is simply awesome! I love the effects of the fire (even though you think it's lame)... Definitely a +fav for me :) and inspiration for me to continue walling with the pen tool XD

It's a wonderful wallpaper. Great work with the vectoring; the details and the lighting is great. The background fits really well with the scan and I'm glad you scrapped that idea you had about having them in space. You spent a lot of time on this wallpaper and it shows. You didn't rush it and I respect that. It doesn't matter if you submitted after another one that used the same scan. I think your wall is far more superior.

Although it pains me that you didn't gave link to scan in description (I'm lazy to search >.<), looking at other wall with this scan I can see that you've put lot of effort in it. I like nice vector, bright colors and lighting, besides it have just right proportions of highly detailed characters and empty space for icons :O

Masterpiece. The scan is amazing, but your vector is beyond words to capture Yomi and Kagura in the heat of battle. Nice, crisp, clean lines in the vector. I oogled the full view |(n_n)|. The pain of chains paid off and the background color heightens Byakuei's presence.

I have nothing but admiration for your patience and effort which is exclusively shown in the wallpaper. I think that the transformation from the scan to this is incredibly fascinating, the result is truly marvelous to gaze at. Everything is so detailed, I like that you paid keen attention to every single aspect of the wall, the colors are to die for, all the highlights and shadings are perfect, the fire is simply faultless "even the flare's are distinct". I hated the series and it's characters but that does not nuke my taste for beautiful art, even if it the protagonists "so to speak" are loathsome. Anyway, excellent wallpaper and thanks for sharing it!

There's another one using the same image, however I do find this one better out of the two. Not only does it show more of the characters, but I also like the fire. It's more intense without the solid lines. You did a great job!

This is a wonderful wall and exactly what I wanted after recently finishing the series myself. I especially like the way their uniforms and hair look, although Kagura's hair seems a little strangely colored...

The flames in the backgroun gives me mixed feelings as I adore the sparks and the contrasting colors but I think the large flame inbetween is distracting and unnessicary.

The Beasts of course look amazing and just wow!
