Collab between Sin and I, our second one~

Scan _ - Trinity Scan Thanks to angel-voice for the scan._

I looked around for a scan and found this one lying around, I really like her pose and expression as well as the art so I gave it to Sin and she vectored the image.

After vectoring the image she handed it to me and I began the work on the bg. It took so many changes and different themes, finally ending with this one. I painted the sky, patiently...took me awhile to get it the way I wanted it. Then I worked on the grass and field I first used a smudge pattern, which didn't work the way I wanted it to.

So moving along after erasing that I grabbed some brushes and worked on the side all again making it how I wanted, blurring were it needed to be and changing the lighting constantly to fit. Then ahead you have the flat green surface for a plains kinda look, and the white glowing lights on her level.

Added a texture and light above using the pen tool to draw it and then blurring it on a high amount to get that sunlight look. I also added the yellow lights which are suppose to be flying up, I guess you can call them lost souls.

The theme for the wall is a destruction/rebirth of a new world, I wanted to do alot but I had strained so much on it already and just got tired trying to make it again and again the right way. I didn't want to make it look bloody or red with fire because it's not a total hopeless theme, it's both and so I didn't want to have just one main theme. The final touch was the petals all around, for the refresh anew feeling they give.

i like this version more than the "black petals" one.. cause this one is brighter, stands out much more.. it looks more alive.. i was totaly waiting for you to upload this here.. i saw the wall on MT and i thought it looked so pretty.. couldn't wait to comment on it here =P i love the lighting work.. and the text looks really nice, matches well.. i also like the work on the background... the grass.. those flower like things.. very beautifull environment... Sinever did a great job vectoring too ;] favs...

its really amazing, the background is really beautiful and fits well with the serie and the character. The title is good too :D , And the white petal version its better than the black one. the only thing i dont like here its the resolutions T.T! i would like to have a PC version (at least 1280x1024)XD anyway its great work here!

Wow, it's been a while since I saw this on Mt. You finally uploaded it here. XD The white petal version is better, like others have said. I also like the curvature of the hedges in the background. Good job. :)

Haha - I guess I'm the only one that likes the black petals!

Maybe it's because I think the white petals makes the entire image too white - in any case... nice work :) The field is very nicely done and the vector of the girl is very cute as well! Good work ^^

I like the white petal version much better. The black petals look like ash or something, which doesn't fit with the background. The background is really light and relaxing and fits with the girl wonderfully. I love the overall style a lot. The vectoring is really gorgeous, from the lines to the colors. The hair shading is so beautifully done. <3

There's a lot of empty space at the top, it makes me wish more of the girl was in view. I also don't like this kind of text; it doesn't accentuate the wall, rather I think it takes away from it.

Pretty pretty pretty. Nice to see a new Trinity Blood wall, especially in my res. The petals really give a sense of perspective and I have to agree that I like the white ones better. But thanks for posting them both! It gives us nice variety. :3

I know this is a little late but I really wanted to tell you how beautiful I think this is. The art of trinity blood is fantastic and I really like what you both did with the scan. The colors seem dark yet match her hair and dress so well, the sharpness and quality is unmatchable and it seems like you really put a lot of work into this. Very lovely work. A+ and a fav. :)

It is an uncannily beautiful image of an apocalypse. The semi-fisheye view widens the horizon to communicate the universality if the impending doom very neatly. The blurring of the background gives it a luminosity that helps to expand the panorama even more.

Personally I think the text is too close to Esther. The composition will feel even more spacious if there is more space between them.
