there's nothing wrong with minimalism. It's a good concept I think, but if the images were vectore or a bit clearer it would work a bit more. I still like it despite that, sometimes less is more :), nice job!

it's good, however, i don't think that blurring is helping on the effect? maybe you should make it just clear?(or better vectoring? =P)

Yeah I agree that it is unique but there is such a thing called being to simple... and this i think has outstretched that limit... I think if you would have added a bit more images on this wall that it would look fantastic... Other then that I think it is an okay wall... my only problem is is that there is not a lot of things to look at...

Fabulous concept, like everyone else has said... :3 I'm not sure about the vectoring, but the image does seem a little blurry, and on my desktop it looks like there are some compression issues around the scans... ^^;; I'm not sure if it's a matter of blurriness as much as you might just need to do some general clean-up around the scans... :) Nice one though, I like minimalism :)

Nice composition, like the minimalism. Great color combination. I agree with candy - this shouldn't be vectored. But the scan really should be extracted properly, the dirty edges really stand out; it's not just specks but entire blocks not cleaned off. It's especially obvious around the hair and in the face, and there's also that speck at the bottom, about two-fifths the way from the left corner.

Also suggest you try a negative version ... I like lots of space, but the white is simply killing my eyes! Do a black bg, but perhaps different colors on the scans, coz a simple color invert makes lain yellow, which kinda doesn't work.

yeah i also agree with the vector idea.. simplicity is great but the image needs work imo..

Very unusual, and I like it a lot. Most Lain wallpapers are dark and grungy and visually crowded, but this one is pute and simple with lots of effectively used negative space. Excellent.

I think this needs both higher resolutions, widescreen and either a non-blurry swallow or just remove it completely. I love the image of Lain phasing in (or out) of the world here, it's very nice, but the bird has nothing to do with that. Maybe you could replace it with a crow. Lain doesn't wish to fly either if you'd ask me. Also your credits could be a lot more opaque like a watermark, kinda obnoxious.

What could work as an alternative background is a street view of some kind, a black background would destroy the concept.
