Wow, that's a great bg, matches the season I'm in right now, though it hasn't been a thousand year with snow, it is awfully cold this year, even in the fall.

I like this wallpaper. It makes me visualize the cold, and the winter adding to that of course. The effects that you used and mastered are remarkable. The color scheme is of course pleasing to me. For three days duration, I say it's excellent. It's nice of you to dedicate this to a best friend. I am definitely sure he or she will love it. Oh yes. I also love that feathers you used. This is a very beautiful wallpaper. The colors deplict a very fantasy feel and i just love the character's expression. It goes so well with the theme. When i downloaded this wall the one thing that i thought was really awsum was the elegant lake behind those dark gates. With the feathers floating carelessly above it, its just a really peaceful sight.

It's just beautiful. I can't find anything wrong with it. Very awesome.

Beatifully done. I really like the mix of feathers, birds, and snow -- You don't really notice it until you *look*. About the only thing that throws it off a bit for me is that the background is from one viewpoint (above looking down or strait on) and the character is from a different viewpoint (low looking up). It doesn't change how nice the wall looks, only for me does it keep the character from fully integrating into the rest of the background. It is in no way a detractor though from how well put together this piece is. You obviously put a lot of work into it. Great job. +fav

Although the bg is gorgeous and the scan is wonderful, the layer in between needs work. I think the idea of a gate there was inspired, but it looks so. . . . monocromatic and 2 dimentional. If you could just blur it a little bit it would look much better, maybe add a smidgeon of grays to it. Its just the rest of the wall puts the gate shame!

I like this wallpaper a lot. When I saw it, I knew I just had to download it. :) It has such a fragile, oh-so-wintry feel to it...it makes you want to go through the gate and explore. One neat thing about the background is there are so many things to look at: the gates, the trees, the water, the feathers.. very neat. I also love the lighting effects.

Very good wall. I'm not very keen with the black gate, for some reason I don't see it fit with the girl and blue backround. I like the character, though the colors seem a tad less vivid (might be right though, given the sentiment of the wall).

Wow. This is a beautiful composition. I like how the black silhouette of the gate contrasts with the glowing blue scenery in the back, balancing out the piece. Is it just me, or are the glowing things a little hard, though? I think it would look better if they were softer, since the piece itself is soft. Bold, but soft. I am loving the intricacy of everything and the pretty background. The beauty and serenity of the lake is very well done. I say it again - this is a beautiful composition.

it's a really nice wallpaper! the first thing i thought when i saw the wallpaper was how the background looked so real (and so cold) and at the same time the scene seems like it belongs to some other mystical world. The only thing i have to note about the scan is that it seems to stand out a bit from the background. one reason is just because your background looks so real so the scan of course looks more 'anime' like in comparison, so i'm not sure if that was really something you could have done anything about. the other reason is because the gate is dark, especially the sides of the gate are bigger areas of black so the character looks quite bright in comparison if the 'light' in the wallpaper is supposed to be (or seems to be) coming from behind the gate where the snow is. But overall i think you did an awesome job ^^ The colors of the background match pretty well with the colors of the scan, and the mood of an otherworldly winter the wallpaper creates makes up for any discrepancies there might be. Thanks for the wall, it makes me want to look at other walls in the category and other stuff that you did too

Beautifull background! The gate gives it a feeling of a natural protected park ( or "paradise gate"if we want to see it more from a fantasy perspective). Also very nice work on the water reflexes and that riple improves the natural interaction between the hovering feathers.

This was the first thing I saw coming onto the website today. The words "Oh, wow! That's so pretty." just flew out of my mouth. Bravo. Really nice.

I'm not the type of person that gets pissed off easily, because most of the time, I'm usually very happy and outgoing, so unless you did something really really bad, I could never get mad.

Of course, when I do get mad, I usually just punch something, like the wall (which hurts a lot by the way), or if I'm in my room, I would just jump on my bed, and punch my pillow until I cool off, or what I try to do instead of unleashing violence, I would just drive around for awhile to cool off, while listening to peaceful music (I have those kinds of CDs in my car, just in case when I'm stressed out over something. XD).
