Final Fantasy IV fantasy no. 4 - Mirror

Great job on the wall. I really like the background and the contrast between Cecil in his paladin and dark knight forms.

Indeed, they translated Yoshitaki Amano's style pretty well *wipes drool* I don't know much about this game though, haha. Anywho, I really like this wallpaper and the concept! The wall is clean and the effects on the IV are cool! However, I think the Final Fantasy words need to be bigger so that they can balance all that's going on in the middle. I also think that if the outline of the words were removed, it would blend more with the background. They look good with the outlines, but it confuses the the depth for me. It's like they're floating in front of the person and his other form even though they are just words, haha.

Speaking of the characters, I thought that the paladin version would be in front but I noticed that his hand and cape is actually behind the scary one, hahah. Maybe there needs to be a bigger size difference or a distance between the two so that the depth is clearer.

And lastly, I just think the moons should be silver to better match the cool-colored clouds XD Overall though, I really like what you've done! fav!

This seems to be a very common theme with Final Fantasy characters to have them on a stark black background and it really works. I really like what you've done here, especially to direct attention to the characters themselves. The "I" in "IV" set aflame is quite sexy and my favorite although there's nothing wrong with the "V" (I just like fire).

Overall, a very beautiful, clean and crisp wallpaper. Great placement, great choice of effects! Too bad it isn't widescreen. :(

Anyway, nice job extracting the scan and cleaning it...also, great choice in using the clouds, rain and sparkles - love all the effects~

Overall, good composition, though I would prefer them standing on something more solid xD *rallies for widescreen so that I can desktop the lovely Cecil*

It looks great. Wait. no. ASTOUNDING. Even when it was just on the front page, it caught my attention immediately. Now, looking at that scan you linked I just have to ask... How the hell did you recreate their feet?! (O_O) They were very well covered by the FFIV logo. The "Final Fantasy" part just seems too small though, but it's still a great work of art. +fav

Nice FF4 wall! Cecil looks awesome here. I love the elements you've added into this wallpaper. The composition of the wall is very well thought out and looks great. I'd rather have it without the two moons up there though. But the rest is very nice. Great work on the rain and flames. < 3 Widescreen please. 1280x800 to be exact. ^______^

Wow, I'm a little late on commenting on this one, but I LOVE it. Its amazing. I haven't played the ds version of the game, and I actually didn't know what cecil now looks like. He looks GREAT. And I love what you've done with it too. The elements around the two forms, and the number looks amazing, and the rain was a great addition. Honestly I'm in love with this wall. Its now on my background and I just cant stop looking at it. Wonderful job. Definitely gonna fave this :)

Wow, that's amazing! Kind of makes me wish the actual Dark Knight version of Cecil had that fiery armor; to me it makes for an even better contrast to his Paladin form, which seems kind of "icy" anyway. The duality of the two moons up top is a cool touch as well.

A lot of the commenters think that the "Final Fantasy" words should be bigger, but I'm fine with it the way it is. The game (and its protagonist's transformation) is so iconic by this point that the gigantic IV in the background should tell just about everybody what game this is. It might look good if you put the words above the IV, though it would leave the right and left sides kind of empty...hmm.

Oh, who am I kidding, this is going on my desktop now.

Whoa. Great job!!

Just finished the game recently. Love what you did with the reflections and the flaming effect on the I, this is a fantastic role playing game for the snes that you shouldn't skip. With the remake the graphics look even nicer with the built in movies. Good work on this wallpaper and hopefully more to come for other Final Fantasy IV characters.
