Unbalanced is not quite the word I'm looking for, but what I'm going to be using until I can figure it out...

The characters are kind of off being that small and not having their lighting changed in any way. (The wallpaper lacks a light source in general.) Overuse of brushing/renders and an overall incoherent feel... No sense of depth.

Not exactly the right positions to be in "versus" for the mechs...

I'm going to be blunt and go with what @puppychow (above) had to say about this wallpaper.

I can see the kind of "feel" you were going for when checking out the scan you used, however you just didn't quite get it right.

Indeed, there is no sense of depth in this wallpaper, perhaps because of the rather bland looking background or the positioning of the mechs. (which could have been improved on)

Points for the brushwork (I love the whole "power oversurge" style brushing you did, mind if I ask what brushes you used?) but the awkward layout is really what prevents this from making the top wallpapers gallery.

Not exactly one of the better wallpapers. However, props for the electrical surge. Also I have to agree with puppychow16 and thebigfatwhale have said. The BG is simply too bland.

Hooray for another Guren wall! And oh, it comes with a Lancelot -- nice~ I like how you used the abstracts to create the energy atmosphere around the Guren's and Lancelot's firing weapons but I'm a bit disappointed because the scene looks a little too crowded by the addition of Kallen and Suzaku. Quoting what puppychow16 said earlier, the reason it lacks a light source because of the addition of the two. For one, they totally draw the attention off the mechs, therefore ultimately confusing the idea of what the wall is all about. However overall I'm thankful that someone made a Guren + Lancelot wall; it brings back memories of their epic battle~

i can see what you were trying to do but the background seems to be on the simple side. Overall good effort

like what others have saidd above, and i believe you can do better than that on the background. that said, the lighting aren't quite as even as expected. for example theres 2 bright areas on both sides, and the mid portion isn't too dark to look right. everything just seem to be part of each other now..

that being said, i still think you did a fantastic job on this ;]

Good effect, but I think the guren's head should be visible. Well just my opinion, overall nice wallpaper. Good job!

this is really unbalanced there's a cluster on the left i think it would b even better if u just took out the cahracters and leave on the the machines

I really have to comment on how awesome the effects are - seriously, lol. Even though the composition isn't exactly perfect, props on the effects! ; )

Thats a really sick design you put on the mechs. Looks a lot different from the anime, but thats a good thing. Keep it up!

Blinding effects! I like the other wallpapers of GunD that you have made more than this one since it's a bit plain. However, it's still a master piece.

Awesome mecha wallpaper. Love the details and lighting you have added. Really great work.

Very nice, it really catches the eye.

The Lancelot seems a bit weird in position as though it's not really in air, but rather grounded... but it's still definitely gorgeous. The glow and colour really do stand out and overall, it just looks pretty :)

Good nonetheless... maybe try adding a few more elements to the background... I don't really mind the positioning of the characters, but the bg really needs a few more prominent stuff.

Brushwork needs more work. It's kinda confusing and doesn't spike any interest. The background doesn't say much and mechs seem like their only emitting aura.

I'm guessing this a different version than the one people were calling 'bland', but either way I really love this wallpaper (Fav'd!).

I'd also like to point out what some call 'bland' others call 'simple'. No need to cover 100% of the screen with color or something.

This one isn't as nice as your 00 set. The effects clash with the scans and make it feel "too" chaotic. It could also use better balance as well, there is too much empty space.

wow, this is really good.

While it did take me a few seconds to find the HEAD of the guren i think u did a great job on the wall. even though everyone says it lacks depth and could use more work it feels like the background really exemplifies the emptiness of space and the battle between the two mechs. I like how it totally stands apart from the battles in the anime itself and it looks like kallen's going to annihilate the lancelot with her own version of the "BURNING FINGER" (9+_+)

Yes, the background can be a bit bland if you look at it, but the thing that really stands out for me is the brushwork and the colors. That alone, for me, makes this a good wallpaper. Nice job!

One term to describe this wallpaper is EPIC. You did a great job also the mechs looks amazingly great. The aura they pull off is amazing. You did a great job. I can tell you spent hours on this a it really did pay off. The contrast is great. The Lancelot looks amazing and Kallen's mech looks equally awesome. In contrast to Lelouch and Suzaku rivalry, the mechs themselves are consider rivals because they battle many times before. One of the best mechs pictures I've seen. Good job.
