Last Exile DERKA: Wings that Never Fail

Very cool wallpaper and I really like the shadow of the plane against the clouds in the sky. Also the attention to detail like the characters in the background is fabulous.

This is so pretty. I love the sky, it's very realistic and goes perfectly with the scan. The rest of the background is also nicely done and original. The scan itself is very captivating since it feels like the characters are looking at the viewer. Beautiful job ^^

I like the wallpaper and idea. It seems like Dhias and you will be having a rather tight match, I wonder which one of you will win?

However, good job. Some issues I am curious about is the plane (I forget what they are called) is so blurry? I would rather it be sharper, atleast. The text with an "outer glow" effect isn't that appealing to me either. Using that technique seems maybe how a newer waller would do it.

Nice work overall though.

personally, i would have added more people to the deck of the ship, but thats because i'm a detail nut. i know how this wall was treating you, and i think you did an awesome job with it. i love the sky and the ships in the background. it's definitly the best wall you've done in a while. good luck to you in derka. if you beat dhias, i'll be sure to stomp you in the next round, if highknees doesn't kick my but >_>

klaus and alvis in the back ground. This wall has nice things going on in the foreground and the background. I like the rays of light cascading on everything and the planes are a nice addition as well. It's a lovely wall for Last Exlie!

My favorite couple in Last Exile. And Range Murata is a genius.

What first got my attention on this wallpaper was the detail on the two characters, Tatiana and Alis, I then opened it in full size and was astonished to say the least to see how perfect everything thing looked. You sure went through alot of trouble to make this, and you realy deserve all the comments from the previous posts, this is a wonderfull wallpaper and without a doubt whorty of a great place in a contest. I wish you all the best of luck, I am sure you will be in a good position with it, if not even maybe win :)

This is really lovely. I love the blue colors you used, it is very easy and nice on the eyes. XD And a different take on LE walls, well cause most of them are grunge or dark colors. Anyway, great job! *favs*

The backgound is certainly impressive and the main character image is very nice and clean...

Heh, I think Al is a little too close to the edge of the ship - with her propped on top of the boxes, one jolt or gust of wind could spell trouble. :P

A wallpaper of my favorite series using my favorite scan from that series. What's there not to like? Excellent compositioning and use of color, but above all, I really love that light airy effect that you use in this piece; it gives the wallpaper a certain heavenly feel to it.

The tiny figures of Claus and Alvis are an excellent touch as well. Awesome work! This will certainly go on my wallpaper shuffle.

It's beautiful. You've done what you intended, and done it with style. The sky especially, with its blues and rays of light, stun me. & I love the airships in the bg.

The quite as cold as ice wallpaper and I inside sky like the shadow of the airplane with cloud heading realness. Also inside background the attention is absurd in quality detail fact.!
