Very, very nice!! I love the sketchiness and I would think the bird was originally part of the scan if you hadn't said otherwise. My only problem would be the light effects you tried to create. They could use some more work. Making them more radiant and realistic would add to the overall impression. But still it's a great wall. Anna/Fire

Haibane Renmei is one of my long-time faves, so I'm very glad that this wall exists; And it's painted too (double yippee!)~ I like how you did Rakka, but the Crow is simply the cherry on top. I'm glad you included it, because in doing so you included a bit of the storyline of Haibane Renmei. Not to mention, the background -- it's both scenic and surreal, the perfect combination! By softening the trees you made them seem as they were but flickering lights, ultimately making the blending solid and impeccable without compromising depth. Again, thanks so much for this! ^^

Well done wallpaper. The integration of the different components look quite rough, but it somehow ended up looking quite good. I like the symbolic touch of the flying crow. The water coloring looks good.

I've always got to see Haibane Renmei wallies in its so-called traditional theme and color: dark-gray-gloomy-grunge-vintage-... and all of these~! HR art is beautiful, but I got somehow tired of the old theme. And here comes this wall of yours, with its beautiful, vivid, youthful colors! Such a refresh! I love HR's sketchiness too, but I have no idea it'd come out this good with bright colors.

I looks pretty good, the thumbal drew my attention. You have nice shades there and good light. I'm not really fond of the sketchiness, I like solid lines. But yeah you can't please all. I'd say it looks way better seen from a distance, so you can actually see what's going on in the bg.

I have always loved you’re sense of style and the different approach that you take with each of you're wallpapers. This sketchy, softly painted makeover was the perfect choice for the scan. The concept is perfect and the colors are amazing. You’ve definitely got a knack for this walling thing and you do it so well. The crow was simply a brilliant idea and it gives the scenery more of an impact. The overall wallpaper looks absolutely smashing. Well done.

Beautiful treatment of the image (it turned out quite lovely). I like the sketchy lines and the addition of the crow. I think it was a nice idea to add it, and if you did not mention otherwise, I would've assume that it was a part of the original scan. It looks very authentic and adds a delectable temperament to the wallpaper. The background is positively rocking, and although it helps to emphasize the characters distinguished features, I find that it holds its own in the overall appearance of the wallpaper. Everything looks exquisite, and I thank you for the hard work and sharing the final product.

woow,I love the sketchiness concept very much, some poeple might think the crow it's an awesome atachment to the wallpaper, I do as well, though, some people might prefare a Dove instead.

I think I know why you prefared the crow instead of the dove here, and that would be couse it represents a different but true king of feeling, Am I right? ¬¬sure I am°° What is your probbblem!! xDD? Nah, forget about earlier. About the wallpaper background, good" nice combination of stuff here, besides.. you achieved a different feeling with this wallpaper, anyway.. you could have represented the propper ffeeeling with the same idea, maybe a sunset, kinda dark atmosphere.. but not to much. You know what I mean.. mixing both without making to much of both.

That is just amazing I love how the lines are drawn over the coloring its really unique and looks messy but a good messy. The lighting and depth in it are also quite nicely done.

I think the best part of this wall is the lighting. It works well with highlighting and giving life to the girl - and despite the sketchiness, there's a bit of realism in it because of that lighting. Also, the background colors are brought out nicely because of this lighting and the bokeh you put into the background helps bring about again, that realism, to the wall. The crow is a nice touch because it gives a more complicated and full presence to the wall (a much better decision than just portraying the girl). Nice work~

I like the hand drawn aspect of the wall, you really took this scan further than the original. I can understand that coming out with something out of nothing can be frustrating but the background is the very thing that drew me to your wallpaper. I like how it isn't totally realistic, you still get the impression that its a forest but its like the character is in a fantasy or dream. You did a great job on the crow as well, it blends in well with the theme. IMO this wall deserves to be featured without question.

Even thou it's been 3 weeks since you made this girl I had to comment even now that it doesn't really matter much.

It's hard for me to pick favorites when it comes to your walls but I have to say this is one of your very best yet. The anime was one of my first favorites because of the unique story line and art style and I think you recreated the art beautifully. Some wallers take a scan and completely misrepresent the anime itself, I'm all for making scans your own but it takes real talent to make a scan your own but still keep the essence of the anime intact, you accomplished this here whole heartedly. The elegant sketchy feel and calm natural colors are just 2 of the many things this wall has going for it, your resolution is killer, the depth perception is uncanny, and I can see every detail and work you put into it. You did a fantastic job and your constantly improving, I'm extremely impressed. Great job! :D A++ and a fav.

I love the Raven (wink wink username), hehe. I loved the pastel like colors, how the shadows on the character reflect the leaves around her, and the general brightness of it. It gives me a feeling that I'm in a forest somewhere by a river, with a sun hanging over me. Peaceful, serene....
