First to comment ... always hard to start ;-) So let's start, i like the reference to gta video game. The effects are very good but the title : Why "black lagoon" and not "Black Lagoon" with a "B" & "L" ? i think it would have been better. Also, i would have preferred a widescreen version. Anyway, very good work. Black Lagoon is a good anime and Revy is too much.

The moment I saw that scan in the gallery, long time ago, I just knew someone was going to make a GTA-like wall out of it. It's actually a pretty cheap thing to do, but to hell with that, it works.

Anyway, I always comment Black Lagoon walls because I love the series and love to see good walls made for it. Unfortunately, I can't say your wall is that good. The blur is just killing the details and the thick black lines are making that even worse. Choosing to fix scans instead of vectoring was the wrong choice, because the original GTA covers are vectored. And with parodies, you either need to do copy the whole style right, or choose a completely different concept. This is just half-half.

Still, I always end with my motto: "every Black Lagoon wall is a good wall", so... nice try ^__^

This is so awsome! I love the Grand Theft Auto them, and if this was a game I'd buy it for sure XD. But back on the subject, this wallpaper, is flawless and deserves a better grade than that B-, A or A- at least.

This is one of the most stylish wallpapers I've seen and Its totally going on my Favorites. I do think the boarders look better if they were white (which you've done). The pics of the Black Lagoon girls is great and the image is clean as diamonds.

And the title is perfect, you really nailed it, thank you for creating this master piece and sharing it with all of us.

Awesome! I'm faving it. I'd really like to have a widescreen version, so that I could put it on my desktop, since I have a 22" LCD with 1680x1050.. but it's cool anyway and certainly worth a +fav. The reference is done very well - I could instantly tell that it's GTA3/GTA ViceCity/San Andreas (at least I could tell it's grand theft auto 3+). But the girl on the right looks a lot sexier than that dude from the game :P so yeah .. fav.. am I happening to repeat myself over and over? It's just so great :D. Thank you for sharing.

The Idea is just damn interesting and the whole GTA design matches perfectly with the anime itself !! Although quality looks OK but there some parts that look jaggy (Around text and the girls body).U could have blurred those parts alil to get rid of that jaggyness !

ah this remind me with other anime wallpaper here in AP that also get grand theft auto theme like bleach or poni poni dash, but black lagoon match better than those previous anime maybe this gta theme will get popular like ipod later, who knows ^^ and yes the scan artwork really match the grand theft auto with that pic inside the box good idea and nice cleaning the scan overall

...I like it. Very much so. The overall composition and styling definitely reminds me of the "GTA" motif from which it takes its inspiration. The daily violent life in Roanapur that's so heavily emphasized in the anime goes well with the GTA motif.

Never has there been a style more fitting for Black Lagoon than the GTA-style. Lucky you got this first, since it was a matter of time someone else did it, and I'm glad someone here at AP did it and did it well. The only thing I wish it had is more bright colors that fill each section so there's more of that 80s Miami vibe that Vice City showcases.

Oh wow, this wallpaper is seriously excellent work! I always loved those GTA vignette pictures (or are they collages? hm) even if the games themselves didn't live up to the action and cool factor the illustrations conveyed. So to have Black Lagoon (which is one of my fave. animes) represented in a GTA style illustration is IMO distilled awesomeness. More specifically, I like how you decided to put Revy "front and center" so to speak, and choose that pose for her.. like she's jumping in mid air, ready to land and teach someone a lesson! It essentially captures her attitude, as well as her great figure. Then to have a gun and money, as well as Balalaika and Eda in there.. jeez, I think you've summed up what these women love the most. ;) Great idea to use GTA style illustration, and your execution of it was perfect. :)

Great wallpaper. Altough, it's not right to obscure the faces of characters. They never did that with the GTA stuff. But still, it's a wonderfull work.
