I watched this series some time ago and I really liked it and wanted to make a wall for it. I decided to make a wall of one of the screens from the ED of the anime (love the song of that one). This is the screen I used.

I started off with making the characters and decided to just vector them. After the characters I threw in a gradient for the nightsky and dotted some stars. From here on I painted everything with the tablet. I wanted to give it another shot since another attempt failed because it was a bit too much for my comp to handle. I hoped it would perform a bit better on this project since it is a bit less to paint. Anyway it took my some time to get the things right and redone many parts of the wall again and again. At least I gained some more experience in painting and may use it again on future projects and improve on the skills.
And as always I try to release a widescreen and normal version. Although on this one almost the whole rear-end of the bunny (Roppa) is cutoff. So here is the result... Enjoy!

i agree that Xam'd ending is really good and glad to see someone create a wall from it. I think you did a really good job on the vector and painting the background, but one of the characters does seems abit blurry and a few more details would be a nice touch to the wall. look forward to your up coming projects ^_^

Hmm... great perspective. I agree with Catoli that it lacks some shading, which takes away from the depth of the image. But really overall great job.

Nifty painting, and this is definitely the kind of perspective everybody loves~ You did a great job blowing up the small screenshot (if that really was it's original size) I don't agree that it lacks shading, I know that the main subjects of this wall are the characters, so a flat light suits them just fine. Also, you didn't compromise any depth because the body lines of the characters and the vanishing points of the horizon/sky speak for themselves. Perfect illusion, I'd say~
PS. I notice that in the screenshot, there's a shooting star in the sky.. may I ask why you didn't put include that in your wall? Even if it may be a bit too cliche, it'd make a nice addition. :)

I feel like I know those characters, but I don't remember from where even the title won't tell me somethong, I like the clouds, and I like the idea that you choosed the night , because when I say them happy and running, I would say that they are enjoying a sunny day !! Great ! +Fav |(VcV)|

Of all the shots shown in ending, you chose the one with the less appealing characters of the whole series (although that’s just matter of opinion). I’m not implying anything bad with that statement. It’s just that would have never expected somebody making a wallpaper for these 4 characters.
Vector looks nice and clean. Everything in the background looks great, except the moon. It is too sharp. Maybe blurring and adding some glow to it might help (just like the original pic).
