Wow, really nice painting, especially on the face!! I also like the vectored hair and the way it is colored, though the painted ear sticking out of it looks somewhat awkward to me because it's fully painted. The face has vector-ish eyes and the painting on the skin seems to be smoother, so it matches the way the hair was done more than the ear.

And while I see that the character you are portraying is supposed to have white skin, I don't think his skin should be tinted blue. Actually, I just think that it should be a different color from his clothes. The way he is colored right now (mostly blue) makes him look like a statue, especially since the columns are tan and the sky and ocean are different types of blue. I know this would take away from your concept, but I feel gray columns would be better, because the warm color looks out of place. I think it's an art rule that we can't have one part of a painting that is completely warm and the others be completely cool. We also have to put colors that we have in one area to other areas as well, so that everything seems whole. If the character is to stay colored the way he is, then more of the color that is used on him should be used in the background. If not, there should be more variation in colors on him (more warm), but the background and him should share the same hue (I actually don't know what I'm talking about). There should be other ways to make him look cold without having to use only cool colors, hehe. Oh, and about the columns, I don't think a Japanese looking man matches the western architecture XD But anyway, it's great that you're trying something new and doing a more scenic wall!

lol agree with luna about the warm/cool colors part although i think the columns should be more blue, not gray i hate gray >D i personally think that pure white background with a sakura branch behind him would have been better, but this is nice too. but yea i have to complain about the text, it needs more work ==" anyways you get a fav from me

I like the contrast between the whiteness of his hair and skin and his eyes - they look really striking compared to everything else. And once again, everything looks so smooth and silky. The simple but pretty background is also very nice and goes well with him. Nice one, luches! :)

I think that is much better then before|(C_C)| But if you ask me, there is too much blue. The ear is somehow weird, maybe it would look better if it was vectored otherwise it doesnt' look good. Lovely paint job, though I think the face and hair are a bit "sharp" in contrast with the rest of the wall. Maybe you could have blurred the sides a little? I don't mind that he's tinted blue though...after all white and shades of grey are a bit hard to see aren't they? And you did his green eyes so beautifully :)

Woooaaahh... it looks so soft and such angel like colors <3 I just simply love this wall but maybe it wouldn't be so bad if you can see some outlines of the face or so but still love it! the painting is just amazing and the bg too XD definitly FAV!

Its interesting, although i dont like the colors because he is black and white, and background is in normal colors which somehow doesnt go together, and such still i love your paintings so im gonna fave it ♥

Shadow in his face is very realistic. Colors in the wallpaper with dim focus are not only simple but also fantastic.

Hehehe exactly when I wanted to comment, you taked it down for reconstructing and I almost forgot about it. So, scenic background. Looking on the used style and colors, it fits quite will with the character itself and the used ammount of blur and shiny parts makes a dreamy atmosphere. The contrast between the warm heavenly bulidings and the cold character is also very interesting. Definitely a fave for the huge ammount of hard work and effort. +Fav
