Rurouni Kenshin An Oath Broken

tres cool! an extremely cool looking wall with much promise but on closer inspection [it isnt a samurai champloo paper XD] that said.. the chinese charcter at the bottom right seems out of place O_o i'd assume he's cutting through the screen which is blood splattered *thumbs up* but seems out off place and off sync from the rest of the wall *thumbs down*

O.o nice effort though, probably better than anything i could do ^^

It seems you FINALLY saw what I was talking about underneath his arm huh? ^^ And you fixed the extraction.. Only thing that bothers me now is the grey border you gave the ripping, which extends to the top a bit as well..... Beige paper, grey tips? Unless it's burnt.....Also the character on the lower right is distracting. But overall cool...

wow, I like this one( the text is brilliant lol) the good old days of kenshin slashing threw people well now 'bout the wallpaper=> I especially like the blood spatters and the scene you've made but it's like there's something wrong with the timing for making this shorty short, I like it!

Yay, another nice Kenshin wallpaper! I really like the concept of this...the background with the snowy houses and shouji doors are nicely done; however, I'm not sure if I like the gray stroke you put on the broken door that he slashed. The idea of the slashed door is good, though. The text in the wall is also out of place, but other than that, I really like this. You did a good job ^^

OOOH MYYY! One of my favorite RK wals of all time now! I love the idea- the ripped door and we're staring from inside the room. My ONLY small complaint is that I wish the text were more subtle- maybe even without the 3-d effect on it would do it. But very awesome job! It's great!

Wow I really love this wallpaper, Im a huge Ruroken fan (I own a fansite on it)-- so ya I think I understand it pretty well. I really like how he totally slashes through (its a screen door right?) it's a very moving piece-- the texture you used was very nice ^_^.

The idea behind it is really interesting, about him breaking his oath, its just interesting since the image itself is from the OVA's and he technically didn't have an oath: he has only one part of his scar: so perhaps if you wanted to really emphasize that you might have drawn in the other part of it I suppose? But I do love the concept ^^. The background is really well done and very emotional. The bloody effects are amazing.

Hmm not sure if it's just me or not but there is an ugly white line along the blade of his sword, other than that it looks pretty good.

Wonderful job putting the blood onto Kenshin like that. My only two beefs are... 1. I think the paper wall in the foreground could have been cut more straight... 2. This is more of an opinion, but the "an oath broken" part doesn't seem to fit in well for me. Other than those two, you've set a really nice dark feeling. (contradicting, yes)

This is a very good image. This reminds me of the friends I once had, but have betrayed me. I have realized the enemy and the friend. I love how the opening is cut, and the backround of crimson.

This is very well done. I'm impressed by how well you got Kenshin to seem like he belongs in that background. Personally, I think the heavy black outline on Kenshin is something that really should stay. Since everything else in the image is outlined with the same heavy stroke, it adds to the sense that he belongs in this image

I-adore-the-colours! It's simply so dark, yet has enough color to give it character, a large amount of character. I personally like the chinese character down in the corner, it gives it a simple yet elegant touch. The pic of kenshin is simply awesome, and the back ground combined with the foreground give it a unique touch I haven't seen before! Great job!!

I can feel the rage coming from this picture. Great idea of him cutting that, uh, whatever he's cutting - it was a great idea that just conveys his emotions better than just the picture itself.

The title suits the wallpaper very nicely. The Kanji was a great idea since it adds more focus to the focal point(Kenshin). This is definitely a side of Kenshin I want to see. I love the idea how you included the rice paper foreground with the image itself. A great job. A favorite indeed.

I like the concept of this wallpaper, but I think a less cartoon-like font should be used to reflect the seriousness of the subject matter. The tears in the paper are also a bit too smooth, so it comes off as looking slightly fake. Also, the blade of Kenshin's sword looks kinda weird, with white dots in the center. I like the blood splats though, they're very well placed.

This wallpaper is outstanding, because it has almost no physical conflicts flaws at all, plus the background and scan is beautiful. I love it all, except the text :X

But overall, excellent work, keep it up!
