Okay, this is my first wall in a long while and I think I'm happy with it. But given the length of time since my last project I don't feel comfortable submitting without hearing if anyone thinks there's something to add/subtract/adjust. So if you have any thoughts I'd appreciate hearing them.
My aim for this wall was to just make a wall of these two. They're all kinds of sweet and wonderful and I just wanted to do something to showcase their relationship. I can be a real sap, I know, but I find their mutual affection, respect, and loyalty really sweet.
I started with vectoring the the images I used for the two photographs and then blending the shading. I then vectored frames for them and combined the photos with the frames and voila. Then I got to work creating the area around it.
Originally the wall behind the table was supposed to be light. The darker look is from clicking the wrong thing when applying the texture and I decided I really liked the mood the darker wall created. This created more of a red look to the wall so I adjusted the color of the frame to make it fit in better.
Then came the rose. I'm still very unsure of the vase but I LOVE the rose. It is currently my favorite thing I've ever vectored. I feel like I'm a bit nutters about it but I'm just so pleased with how it came out that I'm gonna just enjoy it.
I named this wall "Affection" because I was stuck on a title and it suited Cornelia's expression.

ah it looks good with the changes, although i still think the wall texture has too much relief =] good job though i like the concept

Aww, I love the feeling and concept of the wall. The dark and brownish colors gives a really warm feeling; Plus with Cornelia's expression, those two look really sweet. :3 The rose is beautiful and I like the shading done to it. Although, my eyes are keep drawing to the texture of the wall. I also think it's a bit distracting. Fantastic job!

Awww!I love the everything.This wallpaper you did Ravenrouge has such a warm feeling to it. And I do have to say that I absolutly love the rose,very cute. One other thing I love to is that even though they may seem to be separated by the two fames doesnt mean that they are separated in heart and you demonstrated that very well! Amazing job Ravenrouge.^^
