The background is really complex, if it was less blurry, it would actually take the attention away from her. So, I think it actually looks okay as it is. Her right leg is a bit blurry, but not that noticeable.

Too blurry? It stuns me sometimes the comments people make - a lot of people seem to have this sort of fixed box into which everything must fit stylistically. If something doesn't, then they just don't seem to get it and they make the most bizarre critiscism (not that I can't undertand the blurryness comment - it's just it seems, well, petty somehow).

I actually really like the "blurryness" (or rather painted look) of the background and I would have actually preferred it if you'd given the chara slight hint of paintedness feel. It still works great as it is though, cos the stylistic contrast helps to pop her out of the bg and pulls focus.

Personally, the walls that are my favourits are the ones that do something different or that showcase some actual talent and this wall has both - so it wins the internet.

I call this hotness at its best! Okay i wont tell you the background is too blurry :P! I say the background is perfect except for the...lol blurryness >

Holy Crap you guys the blurryness is freekin sweet! If you look at the grass and brush all around you can see that it gives it a painted look. The blurriness in the backround gives it a cozy feel to it. Great wall and dont change it!

I love Bakuretsu Tenshi, and the wall you've created is awesome. It's not too blurry at all. Though it's not the clearest background, it helps put the emphasis on Jo and makes her pop out of the wall. In a good way. :) Jo being my favorite anime character boosts the awesome factor of this wall, and I'm definetly adding it to my favorites. Good Job. :)

Sorry, but I think this should have taken 1st place for daily fav's when it was up. I *LOVE* this wall. I have it as my desktop right now. I don't think the background's too blurry at all; since we're focused on the foreground, and therefore Jo, it works that way. I simply don't have any critique for this, except, WOW, which isn't much of one, right?

The background isn't too blurry. It almost gives it that photographic property, where something upclose is clear, but the background is blurry.

A lovely BakuTen wallpaper, though the bg is a bit blurry, it is possible to use it to your advantage, setting Jo with a bit more sharpness, and set the bg bit more blurry with a slight frosted appearance over it. That way Jo and the bg can contrast nicely.

C'est Magnifique!!! Despite a few flaws- i.e. blurriness of the background, which creates a stark contrast between Joe and the background which actually makes for something quite ethereal if you will.... but overall its a well made/ badass wallie and Joe looks hot to boot so you can't go wrong with this wallie..... It is perhaps among my top ten..... which i am, of course currently using at the moment.... I'd like see more of your work with hot anime femme fatales... PLEASE MAKE MORE!

Good overall: good image extraction and good selection of coloiurs. Yes, the background is a little blury, but if that wasn't so this would be excellent. No odd character poses here (good good)! Background fits that scan of Jo perfectly.

It's great the overall feel I think, although background blurry, of course due to the stretch of the pixels still fited ok. But for some reason though this background really really really reminded me of the garden school whatever that was in Final Fantasy VIII, is this where the setting were at??? I don't know it just looked so much like from there.

A blurry background isnt necessarily a bad thing, it draws more attention to the main character. I also like the colors you chose for the back, it contrasts with the warmer colors of the basic focus. i quite like this wall

well, the far away part of the bg could be blurrly because similar to like a camera when you consentrate on one thing, the back is blurrly, but the parts close to her shouldn't be. I dont really know anything on digitial painting, it's cool though to do something like that.

I don't like Bakuretsu tenshi, but I have to admit that this wallpaper is very good and stylish. I especially like the whole 3D thing going on...The fur on her coat sticks out, it could use bit more work to blend in better, but otherwise it's a nice and interesting work.

Yes, the background is blurry, but Ecclesiasted 3 says there is a time for everything And this is a time for it to be blurry, it isn't TOO blurry per-say, just enough that it gives it a 3d feel rather than a 2d feel, the fact that the background city is blurry makes it seem like you are looking thorugh air to the city ;) I like the blurry.

I like this wallpaper despite the fact that everyone else says that the background is blurry. I still like the way the buildings look. Besides, has anyone ever noticed that when you zoom in on a closeup that the background blurs in movies?

I love how the "camera" gives the illusion of focusing on her directly. The scenery in the background is there... but she is the main focus. Almost as though you are truly looking at her, and nothing else matters :P (Wait, isnt that the case anyways? ;)

Unike the majority of others, I will chime in with my opinion that the background blurriness is rather appropriate. I believe that it adds a bit of perspective and a sense of rapidity. Rather appropriate for the background setting in which you choose. Addtionally, I do like the setting and attention to detail. The character is well detailed and I enjoyed the attention to detail on areas like her stomach and the jacket, particularly how her muscularture was define and how the unworn sleeve folds up.

Maybe it's blurry but it gives it the exact dimension, like if it was done like an original advertising poster for the series. This detail takes the attention to Jo but it doesn't let you forget about it, like a ghost that isn't the main theme but lets you know that it's there and it is as important as the main "character" ( lets say it that way). Great Wall.

i actually think that the background being a little blurry is better ... since the character is more defined, the viewer's attention will then be focused on her and the background will indeed serve its purpose (as a background, supplementing the main picture) ^o^

wow, nice wall hmm... it's nice... even though, you know, it's a bit blurry and all... and the colors are really vivid and bright. it's cool. but man Sorry, but I think this should have taken 1st place for daily fav's when it was up. I *LOVE* this wall. I have it as my desktop right now. I don't think the background's too blurry at all; since we're focused on the foreground, and therefore Jo, it works that way. I simply don't have any critique for this, except, WOW, which isn't much of one, right?

Yeah, that's true that with this background, the attention is easily going on the girl, but at least she's hot! Nice clothing and with the gun.... I love the futuristic style. It's really in my tastes.

Too blurry? It stuns me sometimes the comments people make - a lot of people seem to have this sort of fixed box into which everything must fit stylistically. If something doesn't, then they just don't seem to get it and they make the most bizarre critiscism (not that I can't undertand the blurryness comment - it's just it seems, well, petty somehow).

I actually really like the "blurryness" (or rather painted look) of the background and I would have actually preferred it if you'd given the chara slight hint of paintedness feel. It still works great as it is though, cos the stylistic contrast helps to pop her out of the bg and pulls focus.

Personally, the walls that are my favourits are the ones that do something different or that showcase some actual talent and this wall has both - so it wins the internet.
