what a combination of colors.....The colors of girl's outfit ,hairs and eyes match quite well together and results in such refreshing look !!

Amazing vector and adorable 8)E like the overall theme, a good summer feel to it!

though the cloud brush i found for you is appropriate for the style, it needed some refining to work. as is the sky doesn't fit, the characters look flat against it. it's more of a perspective issue than anything else. the clouds are made to be used from more of a side view, not looking up, as they are.

what you need to do, is sample a color of the sky from another scan from the series, cuz, i may be mistaken, but the color you have here is lighter than you would generally see in the anime. either way, it seems too light. then you need to rework the shading of the clouds so they look like they are being viewed on from the bottom more. and try not to have big white fluffy clouds at the very bottom, as they are. for a good reference, go outside on a partly cloudy day with a friend, and take a picture of them from the same angle that this is viewed in. then adjust your sky accordingly.

Like what you said, the anime is not so popular and I don't know it. But the vector really catches my eyes. It's really smooth and detailed, and I think 28 hours worth of time paid off. The sky BG is simple yet nice to look at. Nice one!~
