Escaflowne I'll Always Be With You

When I first laid eyes on this scan, I knew I had to do something with it. But the scan I saw was cut off, but I found xRazorgirl's vector and had to use it. So here's my wallpaper, and what I was trying to do with this wallpaper was to make it look like Van and Hitomi look like they are actually flying in the sky, which I think is pretty obvious. So what I basically did was find a nice sky background and had that as the background of the wallpaper and added some brushes and filters to make it more realistic . And I tried to add a colourful ray of light to kind of make it look like something is shining on them.

I liked how everything turned out, expect for maybe I think that the wings of Van looks a bit dark, but overall what I really liked is the lighting of everything and how I feel like it shows where everything is (like the distance) or maybe that's just me. Hmm I don't really remember how look it toke me to make this wallpaper since I made it a couple of months ago but I remember it was a couple of hours.
